For all of its faults, Steam is actually a pretty good system. In fact, there's really only one major fault, and that's the temporary server issues at release time. But maybe I'm biased. Anything that could lead to greater creative control, and therefore variety, and/or lower costs in games is ok by me. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Steam one bit, but I've never liked to buy anything online (for a few reasons, but I'm not going to go into those now). And yes, it should be relatively cheap, since like most of you, I've seen more than enough expansions in stores that sell at full price.

What is so special about the special VBA build? Well, kode added some new sound filtering method's, making the sound more true (or even better) than on the original system. He also fixed quite a few bugs (don't ask me what those were, since I on't have the chagelog anymore) + misc. tweaks.

AHEM! AOL is responsible for the destruction of spelling etiquette. ALOers should be segregated from the internet, like they were in the beginning! Ah yes, very true. I'd still say that there are a umber of contributing factors, AOL being at the top of the list.

True, I have wondered the same thing. One would think that there is more demand for a pixel pusher like Doom 3's engine.

Those shots look incredibly badass. Does Prey have it's own engine, or does it use n existing one (let's say a tweaked Doom 3 engine for good measure)?

Select the encoder for Video from Video --> Compression and for audio from Audio --> Compression. Then Save as AVI. Remember to enable 'Full processing mode' in both Video and Audio menu.

How's it inconsistant? It doesn't make much sense? As in a lot is not explained well enough or at all. Well that's not inconsitency, that's something else entirely. But I do agree about it not being explained enough, it's not. But I love the way the story is told since you only know as much as Gordon knowns and nothing more. Most people are just too used to omniscient third person story telling so it's weird when they don't know what's all going on. Yeah, I know the difference between when something is inconsistant and when something doesn't make sense, but I got a brainfart :/ I like the story as much as you do, but I wish they would at least make a proper ending, even if VALVe aims for a trilogy.
