  1. Nibelheim lol. But yeah, I agree 104% with you.
  2. SLI was introduced first with 3DFX Voodoo 2s, and the called it Scan Line Interleave. Ever since nVIDIA bought 3DFX, the terminology changed, now being Scalable Link Interface. Well, getting SLI it's a mixed bag if you ask me. Sure, with today's games, it doesn't take much to notice the benefits of having two cards connected through SLI, since the workload is split 50/50. SLI is expensive, since you need to buy two cards instead of one, and the cards used for SLI need to be identical. I'm not the one to say whether or not Crossfire is going to dominate over SLI, but ATi's move was expected after nVIDIA introduced their PCI Express SLI cards.
  3. Finally. Well, the MAME development won't stop here, that's for sure.
  4. http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php...=0entry169181 Go figure.
  5. Northbridge = One of the two chipsets on a motherboard. Is responsible for the communication between the CPU, RAM, AGP, PCI Express and of course the Southbridge. CPU Socket = Different motherboard have different CPU sockets (the spot where you put the processor). Different processors you different sockets by design. SATA = Serial-ATA. The successor to IDE. Used on hard drives. Has a faster data transfer rate than IDE, and has RAID capabilities. PATA = Parallel-ATA. An older technology than S-ATA and isn't used much. SATA RAID = Redundant Array of Independent Disks. A system for S-ATA hard drives that lets you use multiple hard drives to mirror data on one disk. Hard drives are put into user-created array, and Windows detects the disks as a single hard disk. Primarily used for backup purposes; if a hard drive fails, the data is still mirrored on another drive, so the data is not completely lost (RAID 1 configuration; RAID Mirror). Other uses for RAID is to stripe it, which combines (roughly) the capacities of two drives into a single array, but the data is not mirrored at all. If a drive fails, all data is lost (RAID 0). Onboard Video Chipset = Crap. Videocard on the motherboard as a single chip.
  6. Many Sega CD games are worth it. That's all I have to say.
  7. Of yeah, ZiNc isn't dead yet. I can't wait.
  8. No wonder the site was inaccessible yesterday... As for Robbbert's idea, it wouldn't hurt to test it at least.
  9. Like hell it will.
  10. Not true. There are still a number of ways that are fast as well.
  11. Wow, wht a bunch of retards. That's all I have to say.
  12. I wouldn't, just and only because it's an MMO. I have no problem with Pokémon though.
  13. I'm just waiting for the DVD. Gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling; better than finding a rip of it.
  14. Nope. Mine's ok. It was borked for a long time though, but I managed to fix it.
  15. Any Final Fantasy game. While possible, I just couldn't do it.
  16. In the Hunt has no other name to my knowledge. While SvC wasn't all bad, it was quite a letdown in terms gameplay mechanics. The hit detection is way of at times, which makes timing and overall gameplay a chore.
  17. Please familiarize yourself with the Neo-Geo Test Menu. F1 --> Soft DIP Settings.
  18. Damn, you know how to draw... I'm quite envious.
  19. It's not at all surprising to have females voice male characters. They've been doing that for ages.
  20. Add 2 more websites to the list! are you asking me that? No, it was a statement.
  21. Ah, right. I have no problem with KOF2003, in fact I like the audio in it. I can agree with SvC though; the soundtrack is quite crappy.
  22. Haohmaru's a lot cooler than your average fireball+uppercut hero though. Yes, I can agree with that.
  23. Sound sucks? Elaborate, my SvC and KOF2003 sound fine.
  24. The gameplay is the worst part of the game, after all.
