  1. NES: Dragon Quest III is only partially translated. SNES: Dragon Quest I+II is only partially translated. Dragon Quest III is only partially done. Dragon Quest V is fully translated by DeJap. Dragon Quest VI is still in the works.
  2. For the love of god, please don't babelfish the changelog. It's better to not have one than to have this mess of words.
  3. I'm thinking about a song from Three 6 Mafia. The same guys who's song is in the dreaded "THEY'LL BE SPINNIN' NIGGA" shock video clip.
  4. There is a GameShark and a Pro Action Replay for the N64.
  5. Knowing something like how season work in Nothern and Southern hemispheres in basic knowledge. I'm glad that my Windows is smart enough to change the time on it's own.
  6. Ask and ye shall recieve. Two new rips, both TCs. Doom.TC.XviD-ASTEROiDS Doom.TC.SVCD-PRODiGY They are both much higher quality than the rest, but as for which one is better, they both look about the same. Ratings however are putting the PRODiGY rip out infront, which makes sense as it's SVCD, but that doesn't mean the XviD by ASTEROiDS is worse either. hey thx, man which would you recommend?! Well, do you want SVCD rips or a standard XviD encoded one? I'd go with XviD btw.
  7. Oh, my apologies then. Anyways, the information provided in this thread is more than enough, you'll find the right lines eventually.
  8. Very nice way to look at things Keith, and you are right too. I haven't been posting news because of slowdowns in certain corners emulation in general, and the fact that most news worth posting have already been posted when I log on the next day. But like I've said before, I credit the place I get the info from, and if there's a good reason, the original site as well.
  9. That was most likely me, since I'm very pro-ffdshow.
  10. Apparently because it's affiliated with Apple and iPod... that gets a big fanbase on its own.
  11. Because you saved yourself $100 bucks. Actually, more like €62,90-64,90.
  12. Why is it wrong to get news from somewwhere other than the original site? I really don't agree with how we're supposed to just credit the original source alone, even though that's not the place we got the info from. How would you like to find news about a new PSP emulator and post it on your website and have someone post the same news without giving you any credit even though the news was lifted from your site?
  13. Then how did K' get it ? You do know that Canada, the US and Japan usually get games several months before any of the PAL countries, don't you? PAL territories get rarely compensated for this, but when we do, we usually get a truckload of extras to make up for the ridiculous waiting. Ya I know. So your reigion is pal ? Yes; I live in Finland after all. Axl: Pirating current-generation conosle games is bad, mmmkay?
  14. I think Firefox suports those languages if you just add them from View --> Character Encoding (or whatever that menu is called). If that doesn't work, you just need to install the language support to IE, and it will work in Firefox as well. If you mean OS support, then you add them from the Control Panel.

  16. For antivirus, AntiVir personal Edition, AVG pr BitDefender Free. Aboujt the codescs and the media player... I've used a codec pack only once on my old computer which was Nimo Codec Pack. Now I use the latest unofficial ffdshow + OggDS (for OGMs) + Matroska Pack Lite (for Matroska MKV files). I can't say much about media players, since they are all about the user's preference. Zoom Player is lightweight and loaded with good features. I know that BitDefender has a built-in firewall. I haven't tried others, apart from a free, old version of Tiny Personal Firewall... it was good for its worth.
  17. Well, he is only know in the gaming circles because of his work in MGS 2&3. Even so, since he's mainly a movie soundtrack composer (a high-profile one too), you must have come across him before. ... Unless you only watch romantic comedies or something.
  18. You don't really need to hack the DC BIOS to make it display stuff in english, you know. It's a simple matter of booting the BIOS, going to Settings (Clock), and changing the language. *I hope this is what you meant*
  19. I always give credit to the page I got the information from, provided that my source has credited the necessary people for their news. Like K` said, EmuN00bs is a great place for the occasional laughs, but I feel that sometimes they report even the smallest problems that most people don't even pay attention to.
  20. Just for your information, the true download speed is kbits per second / 8. So my download speed is 2048kbit/8 = 256kB/s. ... I wish you people would do your own math.
  21. Well, for starters, he collaborated with Norihiko Hibino to make music for Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. He's also responsible for the music in such Hollywood movies as The Rock and The Replacement Killers, among many others. The real question is how can someone not know who Harry Gregson-Williams is by now?
  22. Ahem, does "Best Shooters and RPGs for Genesis" ring a bell?
  23. Heh, not long ago our Consumer Protection Agency made an announcement that local ISP can't use the word 'broadband' to decribe internet connections that are below 256kbit/s. Owned. ISPs marketed all kinds of useless crap as lightining fast internet to consumers because most people aren't internet jargon savvy. My connection is 2Mbit/s, and I get full speed. It's pretty flocked up if Mr. G has 3Mbit/s and only gets 1.5 :/
  24. Christ people, Madonna's daughter's name is Lourdes.
  25. Soul Calibur III is still roughly a month away... Which sucks more than humanly possible.
