yes i know but its just really narroring down the search to an exact genre!!! with games that are say vertical shooters or horizontal shooters its like saying if you like this game try this one call it reccomendations if you want. there are lots of games that a lot of people havent played and its easy to skip past them.when i first dicovered mame on xbox i would just play the ones i know and it wasnt until i did a bit of research that i discovered other gems.it might be good for kids or people who are new to mame.

mainly general info but there was one thing call it a comparision as in games that were of a same type as the one you are about to play. eg if you are on progear and you pushed right say it would give you a list of games that are of the same type ie gradius 3,salamander 2,p47 aces. just a thought.

well if you hit left or right on the rom you are about to select would it be possible to have the screenshot that is on display for the rom appear as a full blown image on screen maybe even a little bit of info abut the game you are about to play possibly!!

anyone play giulty gear x on the dreamcast i thought it was pretty good.

ive tried booting snestation with roms on cd with swap magic 3.3 or whatever number it is and it booted no problem. some of the games werent 100% speed but it was damn close!

sonic 3 a good choice but dont you think sonic 2 was better? I still don't see why people thought Sonic 2 was better. I honestly liked the levels in 3 and knuckles better than sonic 2. shinobi 3 was an excellent game,i forgot about sunset riders. would you class contra as a platform/shmup or just a shmup?

marvel vs capcom 2 king of fighters dead or alive 2 soul calibur streetfighter 2 and 3 which ones the best i honestly cant decide.most people will say soul calibur but they all have their own pluses and minuses. ps jkkdark is rival schools and plasma sword any good im guessing you have played them what do you think worth buying or not?
