yeah your right kenshiro these emus really cant be compared their both different. but disabling sound on mame for xbox makes mortal kombat extremely playable but their are earlier versions of mame that play mk really well with sound so really i think my suggestion isnt even worth trying. i just thought that maybe if the processer didnt have to work on actually emulating the sound that it might have given the emulation of the game a bit more help. but it was just a thought,keep up the good work. edit/is thunderblade,desert breaker and ddcrew playable on your version of fba kenshiro?

Powerdrift is playable,this is gonna be great. kenshiro you say some games like galaxy foce and gloc run slow,would you still leave them in when your biuld is released as i would still like to have the chance to try them thanks. edit/would adding a function to disable sound help a bit with galaxy force,gloc.....in mame for xbox on games like mortal kombat3,strikers1945 2and3 if you disable sound on these games they play a lot better and you dont get any of the frame-skipping. im no expert but just my 2 cents.

ive got this emu x68000x for the xbox sitting on my harddrive,emulates the sharp68000 computer. so problem is i dont have a clue about any games that are good for the system,i do know that capcom made final fight ,strider,ghoulsnghosts and streetfighter2 for the system but im looking for different games. any suggestions are welcome,especially shmups.

there are some great mods for beats of rage,final fight(many different versions),double dragon and so on.

a release date of june26th has been given for both sengoku basarax and king of fighters ultimate match for the ps2.

Turbo Outrun uses the same hardware and driver as Super Hang On and the original Outrun. I assume if one works, they should all work. the arcade version of turbo outrun actually used an upgrade to the hardware,so i think it needs more ram than the xbox has to get emulated. ever wonder why it was never emulated on mame for the xbox. but it might work on fba,im no expert but seeing as mame uses software emulation and as such would probably use more of the ram to emulate the game,then maybe fba could emulate the game.

so is the standalone basically all the bug fixes bs? then your gonna release a new biuld after that,im geussing.

so what do you think would be the chances of getting turbo outrun to work kenshiro? or maybe thats asking to much for the xbox to do.possibly a ram issue.

their both great and probably the best time for gaming was to be had with both these consoles. but for me the megadrive just edges it,as much as i like contra3,super ghoulsnghosts and all the rest.the megadrive with forgotten worlds,ghoulsnghosts,sonic,gunstar heroes......were just the best games at the time.but hey i owned both. gone are the days when i payed £100 for an import version of the original streetfighter2,a lot of money but it was worth it.

you could flash your modchip with slayers auto installer disc2.7,that come with all if not most of the different versions of bios. did your xbox work before? this will probably be a waste of time but try holding the back triggers and push select and start at the same time.

ive seen a few vids on youtube with ps3 consoles that have the newest versions of yellowdog linux running on them. they have sdlmame running on linux through yellowdog and from what ive seen the emulation looks faultless. the same also goes for snes and genesis as well. has anyone tried out this version of linux on the ps3 or are these vids just fake.

well its possible that you might have to flash a new bios on to your modchip. or instead of just pushing the on button or the eject button to turn on your xbox try presing both at the same time,i have heard this sometimes works.
