well at least ps3 has got emulation from out of the box but us 360 owners arent so lucky.i am surprised though that the 360 hasnt been haxed,seeing as its been out for more than 2 years.well will just have to keep playing the waiting game.

strange but thats the first of bp releases that i havent been able to unrar on the xbox with unleashx file explorer.not that it matters anyway,just unrared it on the computer.but just in case anyone tries to unrar the files on the xbox,it was just to let you know. favourite thing so far about this release,afterburner keymapped to the back triggers.now i can use the afterburners without having to use the right thumbstick. doing some more testing later,good work as always bp.

ive been trying out progear on fbaxxxpro and then ive tried progear on the normal fbaxxx(newest version),is it just me or does the images on screen look slightly better or clearer on fbaxxxpro. im just playing it through a scart cable.has anyone else noticed this. edit/confirmed,fbaxxxpro does give a clearer picture on screen.

tonight-raiden fighters2(2000),progear(again). kenshiro is that the hacked version of vendetta?coz if it is its hilarious. for anyone thats intersested,ive been mesiing around with xports newest version of his sharp68000 emu(x68000x).if you do try this emu then get a hold of castlevania for it.this version is an update of the original castlevania on NES.it looks as good as draculax on the pcenginecd-rom and plays just as good.

so what games do you mostly play or what are you playing at the moment. right now i just finished playing final fight on fbaxxxpro and i am about to test out a the xport emu x68000x,when the sharp68000 came out it was basically a cps1 board,so games like final fight and strider should pretty close to arcade perfect. i mostly play supercontra,afterburner2,streetighter alpha3,zero2alpha........way to much to mention. so what games are you playing at the moment or about to?

the point is,that the ps3 can do emulation,dosent matter if it isnt fully cracked yet,its doing it right now. even though there isnt access to the full potential of the hardware.as much as i would like to run emus on my 360,its gonna be a LLLOOOOONNNGGG time.

ive seen some vids over at youtube witn people putting yellowdog linux on their ps3 and running sdlmame and running some of the capcom vs series games at full speed.so if they arent fake then i think the ps3 is halfway there.

are you playing it through hd component cables? as ive heard of fbaxxx pr crashing when when played through at the wron defenition,i dont know maybe if you try it at 480i/p.just a thought. you say theres a lot of writing appears does it say anything about certain files missing?

i would recommend maybe doing a clean install and also remember overwrite the coinops gamesave in tdata and udata with the new gamesave from the second quarter patch. it seems like those some of your roms arent compatible but try a clean install anyway.

you must be using the wrong roms.was it the standalone version of coinops you downloaded or the whole package which included all the roms.

the best snes emulator on dc is called dreamsnes.it dosent run all games at 100% speed but its the best snes emu on the system.

was this the same bug that giulty gear accent core had,before the released the update in japan for the ps2?

ive got a chipped xbox myself.but with some softmods isnt there something you can do like pressing the eject button to switch off the softmod and then you can use live then you press on and eject at the same time and that swiches the softmod back on. i know youcan do this with chipped xboxs,but im sure i read somewhere that this works with one of the softmod installs.just not sure which one,maybe movento will know better as ive never actually worked with a softmod install myself. edit/this method isnt a 100% foolproof way to play on live there is still a chance you will get caught.i suppose it just comes down to luck isuppose.

well good luck with that,i tried running it from my hardrive last year.but i only got so far before it kept crashing on me.like i said it can be frustrating so good luck with that. there is a version of xmugen going about that lets you play it on dvd.you should maybe check out the emulator thread over at xbox scene and go to the xmugen thread they have there.probably some good advice in that thread.
