hi bp i know primal rage works on mamedox but did primal rage2 work as well? i remember posting about it before but i cant remember if it would load up or not on arcades.

i am on my new laptop and i have to install msn,whats your contact for msn,pm it to me. i wonder if iq would maybe like to have a look at the osman driver as it was added in mame0.84? that would be something,i would buy him a few beers if he pulled that off.

has anyone played mame on linux for ps3 yet? my brother has a ps3 and im thinking about installing yellow dog to try and run mame on it. is it a pig to set up and how well do games actually run?

i played it on 360 and i didnt like it at all give me sonic on the megadrive or sonic adventure on the dreamcast anyday.

if you have to alter the code for cps2 games for hyper streetfigher then maybe best to leave it seeing as you can play it on fbaxxx.the cps2 games play really well on amedox so there is no point in altering the code unles you or other people feel differently. as for a list crystal of kings and evolution soccer which both use the crystal driver. apparently the specs of the crystal system is pretty close to the specs for osman/canon dancer so im pretty hopeful that this will happen one day. there is also a game called fourtrax and luckynwild which i have tested on mameox128 and coinops but fourtrax is very buggy and luckynwild hangs at the area select screen.they load so im geussing its a driver issue. http://www.mameworld.net/maws/driverinfo/namcos2.c a lot of the games on this driver are already emulated really well on coinops,so what do you think? could you add primal rage in the vmm with sound off?

yeah i got it working,just had to run the setup.exe and then hit the rap.exe and was good to go. i actually just found a bigger file version of the game so im going to give that version a try seeing as the first one i downloaded wouldnt give me access to some of the other missions. thanks for the help cinder. anyone know of a good list of ms-dos games?shmups are my preference but even a comprehensive list of all genres.

there is only one exe inside the zip so i will try out what you are saying thanks cinder.

once you unrar the zip the xbox cant read any of the files as in the exe dosent show up.

i have been messing about with dosxbox for the first time and im having some problems. i downloaded raptor which looks a great shooter anyway its in zip form about 1.9mb and it was released on dos.so i put the zip file in the dosfiles directory and then once i started up the emu and went to the game i hit the a button which then asked me to type in the name of the game.so obviously i was going to type in raptor.zip which is the name of the file but the name of the file was already at the bottom of the screen. so then it took me to the configuration menu and in the cdimage option i set it to none as obviously it isnt a cd file.but as soon as i try and load it i get an error about path invalid or sometimes a cd mounting issue. ive messed around with a few of the options,so has anyone got any advice or help? thanks.

has anyone tried this emu yet?
