I've been looking for ages to find the 70+mb versions of the latest neo geo games. does anyone know where to find them?

the games don't work yet. these roms are just work in progress. Even when the games are emulated, they will run terribly. just use ZiNc to play them.

It seems a bit daft, but how do you record sounds from windows? Which program do you have to use and how do you use it?

For Gamecube emulation we will need to wait until PCs are about 5 times better than they are now! So I'd say about 5-6 years from now. But just buy one and only emulate it when the Gamecube is not on sale. The emulation rule of thumb is - "only emulate it if you can't still buy it easily"... Hence Kizuna Encounter for the Neo-Geo

I'm pretty sure that kof2003 is on the same hardware as every other kof game, so it shouldn't be too difficult to emulate it in the near future. The new hardware (Sammy's Atomiswave) is definitely going to be used for the new 3D king of fighters game and Capcom vs. Sammy. Playmore is supposedley ceasing Neo-Geo development and developing all future projects for Atomiswave (which is no surprise after the dull looking SVC ). I doubt 2003 will be the first game on the hardware, it will be most likely the final Neo Geo game.

I think you need to download a hacked version of the emulators (kawaks or neoragex) that support the new games such as rotd. You'll find links to these in the neo geo emulation section. You will probably find the hacked emulators in the SVC (snk vs capcom) topics.

Zinc/Impact is the worst emulator ever!! I've tried to get the roms to run using all the different GUIs and nothing ever happens. It doesn't recognise any of the roms (SFEX, rival schools etc) I've managed to get Tekken 2 to run and that's about it. I'll just stick to using ePSXe to emulate these games... I don't suppose you know something I don't...

Radiant Silvergun is still not emulated. The rom you downloaded might work in the future when mame updates but it is just a work in progress. I don't know why your mame isn't finding it though...It should recognise it but just not run correctly. Make sure the rom is in the ROMS directory and is called "rsgun" (without the quotation marks). Right click the rom in the GUI and find the audit tab. It should say PASSED. If it displays anything else then it's not the correct rom. The game still doesn't work yet though.....

After trying virtually every NES emulator, I found out that the best is RockNES. It has suppor for almost all games and good options for keyboard or joypad controls. Try it out!

I have 2 versions of mame. 1 which runs SVC and all removed neo games (kof2001, sengoku3 etc) and the other which is the hacked DeltaQuad 0.78 which runs samsho5. Is there any mame which runs kof2002, rotd, pim, mslug4 etc (the 40mb roms that run in kawaks and neoragex, not the mame specific ones)?

The best Street Fighter game is Street Fighter III - New Generation I loved the first SFIII. Only faults with that one is - NO HUGO... I do own all SF3's, but I prefer New Generation. 3rd Strike was set to turbo speed all the time so I didn't find it as tactical as the first 2. ALEX and DUDLEY. Once you mastered them..Oh Baby!

Hey KOH_roms You said your fave CPS1 Street Fighter Game was Super SF2 Turbo the SUPER SF's were the first games on CPS2. They don't look as good as most CPS2 games, but that's what hardware they were on. So you'll have to rethink your fave CPS1 StreetFighter

I'm with deltaquad. It's foolish to not include 2001 just because YOU don't like it. KOF 94-95 rule!!!! I love all the other KOF's but none have been as much fun. It might have less impressive moves and stuff. But the bone crunchin sound effects and the feeling of pulling off mega combos has never been the same. One of the great things about 94/95 was that if you pull off a great combo it would either dizzy them or KO them...Serves them right for missing that fireball... What a great game. As all subsequent series entries have been based on 96 I would hold that game responsible for completely ruining the series. I Still love the others, but not compared to the accidental genius that was evident in 94 - 95.

I've said it before, but I've always disliked NeoRageX MAME rules all for earlier roms and I prefer Kawaks for the new stuff......And Nebula sucks arse!!
