  1. Back when I just didn't sleep much, it wasn't unusual for me to fall asleep in a vehicle, in a chair (including my computer chair, while I was talking to people on AIM). During my freshman year of high school, I always went to sleep during my Physical Science class. However, I already knew all the material, so it wasn't a big deal. I got a steady stream of As and Bs, and I even laughed about my old habits with that same teacher a couple of years later, when I had him for Psychology.
  2. Diso: I have windows, too. But when you sleep from 8 AM to 4 or 5 PM, your eyes aren't used to the usual daytime brightness. The brightest light I'm exposed to is at a well-lit gas station.
  3. It depends on what my schedule is. If I'm not doing anything that night, I'll be online, as there's nothing to do at 3 AM (Except for buying drugs and going to Waffle House, neither of which I'm a big fan of). However, I've been known to be gone for 2-3 days at a time when there's a lot of work to do.
  4. Does the fact that there are like 10 threads stuck at the top of every forum constantly annoy anyone else? One or two threads at the top is just fine, but this is ridiculous. Let the topic fall to the bottom, and just have it on the tutorials page. I would actually come here more often if this minor annoyance was fixed.
  5. Agozer is right. I use MyIE2, because I hate how Firebird/Firefox basically forgets all of the extensions and such that you've added as soon as you upgrade. This is a real pain in the ass when you've got several extensions installed. I've got ActiveX support disabled, because it has no possible good purpose. Between that and some other things I've casually disabled, I think I'm reasonably safe from the basics.
  6. I realize that each prog covered something that the others don't, but I'd like to know what the rest of you think is the overall best Spyware removal program on the market. Someone asked me this, and I didn't really have a decent answer for them.
  7. Actually, disregard my previous post and try IRC. It's basically one of the only original ways of distributing pirated content that is still widely used. IRC will make you appreciate the modern P2P programs more. Contact me if you're interested, and I'll point you towards some of my old stomping grounds.
  8. http://www.electionquest.com I am seriously thinking of buying two decks. One to open, and one to just keep wrapped up somewhere.
  9. You guys are apparently retarded. http://www.click2houston.com/entertainment...508/detail.html
  10. I wouldn't recommend IRC. It's very, very limited with what you can do, and the odds of getting busted for sharing are too high.
  11. Someone replied to me saying that if you don't like a station, you can just change it. You people really need to heed that advice, and quit your bitching. I just hope they have something like Chatterbox in this game.
  12. I have to agree with GryphonKlaw. The GBA was so funny. Does anyone remember how PE2000 posted a direct link to Super Mario Advance (U) a full two weeks before it was released?
  13. Besides, Vice City was mindful to capture the feel of the times through the radio stations, and I think they're going for the same thing here. After all, the early 90's didn't just feature rap. Besides, I need something to listen to while driving on the sidewalks.
  14. Already have one that I don't use anymore, but should probably start using again.
  15. I got Tommy, which is cool, because Joe Pesci played him.
  16. Ok, replying to Keith: I think that "keeping integrity" in something that is so closely related to illegal activity is kind of silly. The "illegal ROM scene" and the "emulation scene," might be different, but you practically cannot have one without the other. Yes, I understand that it IS possible to play totally legal games with an emulator, but really, how many people do that exclusively? And how many programmers are going to create/hack an emulator just so that they can play their favorite PD game? I'm really suspecting the wink and nod mentality, here. Oh, and I'd really love to point out something: GBA emulation (The last time I heard anything about it, anyway) was patented by Nintendo, which brings the GBA emulators on your site (As well these other emulation sites) into question (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, preferably with links). While I realize that these two situations are totally different, that still doesn't stop the emulators from being technically illegal, nor does it stop the process of GBA emulation from being Nintendo's. While there are some major differences in the situations, the main point remains. NOTE: Keep in mind that I'm pretty bored as of right now, and am waiting on a call to go to work so that I can make crack dealers see red, and college girls cry.
  17. EmuFanatics. Apparently, we're a bunch of idiots (excluding GC).
  18. Oh, this is fun. Someone replies here, and they reply over there. Maybe I should reg? To whoever pointed out the flaw in my analogy: Ok, so it would be like someone running a head shop recommending against certain pipes and bongs based on "moral grounds." There. Now it works. And I'm starting to suspect that Keith is saying everything he's saying with a wink and an nod. As Dooz said, the worst that will happen is that they'll get a take-down notice or something. So, it's really not all that big of a deal.
  19. I just noticed that Keith is talking about the moral issue of "stealing Sega's work on girigiri" or something equally retarded. Come on. You're aiding the playing of pirated games by running an emulators site, and you're trying to discuss morals? That sounds like a pot dealer who is advising against the use of certain pipes and bongs, based on "moral grounds." I've pretty much lost the ability to take all the participants in this debate seriously (Not that I did anyway).
  20. I'm referring to stuff like homemade apple wine.
  21. I wonder what you are if your only alcoholic experiences involve homemade beverages....
  22. It's not like you're all going to prison for several years because a few guys got together and decided they're going to rework an emulator for a rare console that most people don't even remember. So, why worry about it? Besides, Weird brought up a good point. Isn't GBA emulation illegal, because Nintendo patented it? Could someone please tell me why that is ok, but this isn't? Also, isn't the BIOs you have to download to get ePSXe to work illegal as well? Why hasn't a shitstorm of paranoia been kicked up over it? Sony is a much bigger company than Sega ever thought of being.
  23. Why does anyone even care about the legalities? I mean, most of us aren't downloading PD/games we already own exclusively. I understand the need to cover one's ass, but why act like you're above "that childish illegal stuff" when basically nobody downloads only the games they can legally have back-ups of? That's why I like the movie piracy scene: Nobody pretends to be totally legitimate.
  24. Yeah. I'm considering buying another one, because I really had to call around to find a major store that had it. Not even Walmart will carry it. Some ghetto biatch at the local Target got all mean with me on the phone, stating, "We don't carry Phillips, period." There's some kind of conspiracy going on.
  25. Yeah, and some tribes have sex with boys because they think the semen will make them better men. When they hit puberty, the men stop. Also, did you guys know that at one point, African tribesmen with AIDs were having sex with babies, because they thought it would cure them? I think that article appeared sometime in 2002.....
