  1. Glilon is a shorten Galil. They both suck ass. Tavor is not a sub machine gun - it's a rifle just like the M16, only it's much more advanced.
  2. Actually... we don't use Uzi's anymore. M16 is the IDF standard, though in some units they still use weapon called "Glilon", and there is a new weapon called "Tavor" that only one brigade uses currently.
  3. Snow is very rare here at Israel, but it happened today! Here are some pictures:
  4. Wap portal means that you can surf here and use the forums from your cellphone.
  5. Does the system of this forum supports wap portals? If so, it'll be a good idea to make one.
  6. Well, a couple of days ago me and some other guys were supposed to go out of the base for the weekend, but we couldn't leave until that guy named Elad come to replace us. So I opened my cellphone's address book, looked for Elad, and called him. I asked him when he is coming, and he told me that he already left the brigade. So I told the other guys that he isn't coming cause he left the brigade, and one of them told me "You idiot! That's the wrong Elad!"
  7. They didn't think you are dumb, they've just lost their patience...
  8. Looks like your average action figure to me...
  9. In my friends computer the screensaver refuses to work. We believe the problem might be a program that runs in the background and stops it from working. Had anyone experienced that kind of problem before?
  10. You are just making excuses to cover up your N00Bness
  11. Guys... you missed the point... I wasn't talking about the suckiness of the army. There is a whole genre in the Israeli literature who deals with that subject. I was talking about something else. The army is so... full, that when I'm at home it feels so empty. I just had to express myself... Anyways, it really have been a long time since I last visited here. I guess I really should get more involved. Edit: And about the women - they ARE hot. Too bad there are only few of them at my current base...
  12. The so familiar feeling of emptiness, filling my heart and mind. How can emptiness fill something? Or is the feeing the one that's filling? I do not like being in the army, not at all. Yet now that I got a 10 days vacation, it feels like there is no meaning. I recall dreaming about doing nothing during the frustrating long hours of training and working, yet now I eager to do something! Is it always gonna be like this when I get my anticipated regular vacation every 4 months? How about after I get released? Dammit! I haven't protected a single person yet - I've just finished my basic training - and yet I feel so empty when I'm at home. What will happen when I'll be operational? How depressing will it be then? Emptiness. The worst feeling there is.
  13. Naaa.... that tank is no longer working. The ceremony was at a place called Latrun, which serves as a tank museum/monument, so there are lots of old tanks with removed inner parts.
  14. Well... I don't have any pictures of me in a tank(cause I've never been in one yet), nor do I have pictures of hot army babes, but I do have this: Which is totally unrelated... but my mom got it on the congratulation ceremony...
  15. sure. Here is a better picture: Anyways, I can't wait to get the pictures of field training and war simulation...
  16. I'm not a rookie anymore! The physical torture is over! And the best thing - I'm done with infantry training. For the next 6 months - tank training! That's right - tanks. TANKS! I'll only get to do tanks after two months of theoretical lessons though...
  17. It was a real drop down compared to the first and second movies. Mostly thanks to the poor acting - it was so bad people laughed at the sad scenes...
  18. I played call of duty... 'cept I did it in real life...
