Do the PC versions really come with OSTs? I remember I bought SH2 for PC, but then maybe its coz its the European one.

Actually out of the ports it does have I dont have any... Same for GGXX#R which had a really short print run here. And where does this assumption that 'new and interesting games' make the platform so great come from? If you really think about it, most arent new or interesting at all going from the names given back there. They seem to me to be just spins of existing games / genres with a novelty involving a second screen or a stylus attached. All of which is besides the point seeing as a comment suggesting a system is superior becauls of cool looks and a single game should be taken lightly. Too bad the sarcasm doesnt convey here very well. Bottom line is out of all those fantastic games Im not interested in a single one of them. If something at all were going to possess me to buy a hand held system at all- currently I own neither and dont plan to in the near future- it would be one of the few games I still enjoy playing at all now getting a perfect port. If I wanted to try something new and interesting Id go get a DDR mat and play Tekken with it.

Ah my bad I forgot there was that Castlevania there. But I agree the Guilty Gear looks iffy for now, and again Id go PSP for XX#R if I were going to do either. I actually dont think that gadget is too expensive, considering the PSP itself hasnt dropped in price since its release. For DS owners I think shelling out that much for those capabilities is plenty justified.

Such as..? At this point in my life I know what I like, and pet sims along with other quirky games arent something Im even going to waste my time with. Personally Id rather have a system that can handle proven games that I wouldnt mind playing for yet another 10 years, rather than new *original* experimental crap that has nothing going for it apart from the fact that its experimental and different. Sorry DS.. I gave you a chance and you disappointed me. PSP ftw so to speak.

Iv played all of them very recently- recently enough to remember the intricacies of each ones storyline. Not that having done so will matter much since this isnt strictly any of the game-stories adapted. Im so glad there isnt enough fanboyism surrounding Silent Hill as there is for... say.. Resident Evil. This way Im hoping the movie benefitted from the creative liberalism that you only get when you arent trying to make a blockbuster action film. I hope Ill be able to say that it is without a doubt the best game to film adaption Ive ever seen. Well have to wait and see, but things are looking up.

It would come down to whether that report is accurate, and seeing as it doesnt sound all that unlikely, Id reckon yeh it is. And then if thats true.. I think there will be a big gap between the quality of the Metal Gears of next gen and everything else.

But wasnt that always an issue? The Xbox being easier to program for than the PS? I dont fancy that marginal performance increase being noticable for a long long time.

Hmm... I'll go get it tomorrow then. I'm really just scared to lose all my old stuff- I can play SC3 again to unlock stuff if it comes to that. Hope I dont have to learn any of these lessons the hard way.

I use uTorrent just coz of that supposed low resource usage claim. However, I frequently get an error about saving some 'resume file'... doesnt do anything in effect, just a pain getting the message again and again.

I dont even watch it that often but I've seen that ep more than once. For some reason. :S

Soul Calibur III... there's a bug in all 3 releases of the game which corrupts data. As far as I've read its a definate thing.. ie. not just a bad batch constituting a small amount of games- all discs are effected. Basically part of the SC3 file can get corrupted, all of the file, or even all of the Memory Card itself. Happens sometimes when you delete older files, reset the game etc etc. However all reviews and such praise the game but dont really mention it? Details can be found here GameFAQs Thread Anyway being out less than 3 months here, and suddenly dropping to half price makes me want to get it. But Im wondering then if that's because its buggy, and an updated version will be released later (as Platinum or otherwise). Basically I want someone here to tell me they have it and the issue not a big deal. Or that it was a problem and so at least I'll know for sure. It'l make me feel better either way.

This is a pretty slack move but Im looking forward to getting Vista as soon as its out anyway.. The only problem Im thinkin is will this 'Vista only' bit mean it uses DX10? In which case Id need a new vid card? Id be less happy about that. I wouldnt put redeveloping a game in that way to force stuff on us past Microsoft.

I agree. This is a sort of perfect game for the PSP in the sense that... SFA3 is sort of perfect. And Iv always wanted a portable version. Now to just come up with $400 for a PSP.

That's good. At least this'll be a good non-GC way to get RE4 with good graphics. I'll probably stay away from this port of DMC3 though.

DMC3 is coming to PC? I mean thats good if it is, but the SE still isnt confirmed for PAL yet. I mean... wtf...
