Well, they've had their chance with the last firmware update, and it still works. Maybe the next firmware update will block it. Ultimately, we'll just have to wait and see. Nope, won't be blocked by firmware updates, becauseit's a bug in the game code and could only be patched, if they (BigN) rerelease Zelda as a V1.1 like they did with OoT in the N64 era. Hmm.. off topic, but what did Zelda OoT have in v1.1 that wasn't seen in v1.0?

I don't think it's the cause of any of our problems, recent or past. Don't worry, be happy now.

Alright, let's all not just jump on Cinder now. -
When can we expect affordable Blu-ray burners?

Interesting. Well, thanks then .... I guess I got to give it a try! -
Not now. Maybe not ever. We'll just have to wait and see. What's this next step thing about again (rhetorical question)? edit: To be more frank .... if I were to turn it on now, it would probably open up a can of worms that I'm not willing to kill at the moment.

I went ahead and added the quote to your post. I honestly don't think this is going to harm the Wii at all. It's only a matter of time before we'll have the ability to play backup games on the Wii with just the twilight hack. Now that I think about it, the Sega Dreamcast was really an isolated incident and there were several underlying factors that killed it, than just piracy. People could softmod the XBOX as well during it's prime, which didn't scratch the release of any new games as well. Same goes with the PS2 and the Independence Exploit. The Wii will live and I'm sure the firmware updates will patch the holes as the days go by as well. Now the question is, how much will Nintendo patch, and will it screw up future homebrew? Probably for a short while, until another exploit is found. Look at the PSP, still alive and kicking too, and they have hacked it inside and out. But Sony keeps on patching!

I don't recommend this movie on a full stomach. It really wasn't my kind of movie. Not only is it Rated R, but there's just a lot of scenes that are not really good to hear or watch at any age. Other than that, Van Damme's acting is certainly a lot better in his more recent movies.

The ads will be for a service, but not for products as far as I know. I can't give more details on the company until they launch. I knew you were gonna say that.... but I had to ask. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Yep, it's always good to try. No harm done.

Yeah, something to automate that would be great. I always have to do it manually to back up stuff and it's an absolute pain in the ass! I have yet to try imgburn. I usually use Nero Burning Rom myself. -

That's actually pretty good. What's a good software to burn data files these days? I wish there were softwares that could properly split files or grab a certain amount of files from a folder to burn on like a set of 8.5gb discs. Example: Drag "family videos" folder that is 40gb to burn on 8.5gb discs The burning software takes files 1-20 that add up to 8.4gb and burns them on a disc... then it takes files 21-55 that add up to 8.5gb to burn on the next 8.5gb disc. Therefore, it never actually splits any of the files themselves. Do you know any program that does this? -
Agreed. How about I make up a game!!! Ohhhhhhhh yea. You have no idea what I am capable of. But... is it down due to memory size? or server issues? I don't understand... why was it taken down in the first place? Server issues. It was spitting out error messages.

[2/2/08] Swap Magic & Magic Keys

I'd have to agree with BK. The lasers on the PS2 can get weak over time and its best to save the laser, while you still can. Also, instead of using a switch from radioshack, I would have just bought a fliptop case instead. That would have saved a lot of hassle IMO. BTW, I never knew you can use a Swapmagic elf. Does it work well on the phat PS2? Is there any special process to get it working or is it just like CogSwap? Also, can someone tell me how to play PSX backups on the PS2? -

How many GB can a DVD+R DL disc hold? -
There's a good chance you all will see some soon. I mentioned months back that we signed a contract with a company who would start advertising from November of last year. However, their site launch was delayed, and will most likely launch in a few weeks. It'll probably be a few banner ads, if anything else. There will be no popups, as I hate those with a passion myself. Anyway, after June 1st, we'll be back to no advertisements, unless we form another deal with another company.

Yeah, that's not a good idea. Eventually, your PSP will probably smell like crap too. There's also a chance it might fall in the toilet.

We're constantly optimizing the server were on now. The problem is more money. I don't want to be losing money without gaining it back someway if we purchase a dedicated server. And really, the server we're on is basically dedicated for us, as we consume most of its activity.

I have played SSF2T numerous times without the problem. I'm not sure what to say. You should maybe try searching to see if others experienced the problem via google.

CPS2 emulation has always worked perfectly for me without any problems. Although, I haven't used any of the later versions of the emulator in a long time, which could have new bugs. I especially love how you can utilize the PSP screen to play games like 19XX, by tilting the PSP vertically. PSP is by far the the best emulation handheld device.

That would piss off all the high scorers like Jaegermeister who had to have a high score in every game. I think I may have exaggerated with 500 games, but it sure was over a 100. Starting fresh can sometimes kill the extravaganza that made it famous. edit: I double posted. Don't copy me.

There was already a 35 or 50 post limit at the time the arcade was online to prevent that. 100 posts for arcade access is a bit much IMO.
-
We had over 200-500 games to choose from, if I remember right. Sure, there were quite a few crappy games, but there were also a lot fun games. The arcade has been down since August of 2007 if I remember correctly, but I think I'm way off, since it feels a lot longer. At this point, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the arcade. edit: The time this thread was made, the arcade was working. The original poster is complaining about a specific game or problem within the arcade not working.
