I usually get "depressed" after a big dose of being "high". My high is laughing, good times with good people, and dancing with my peers. Once that's over and I wake up the next day, I usually feel like absolute garbage. I can't explain it, but my cure is simply orange juice. A small glass of good ol' O.J. (not Simpson) with extra Vitamin C and Calcium + Vitamin D brings me back to life. Can you believe it?

I've never seen a thread so slanderous and ludicrous to our board rules. As long as Exp44 doesn't care about being so outlandishly ridiculed, I will keep this thread open. Thanks for reading.

Holy shiiiit! Mr. T brought boy out of coma!
Alpha replied to Alpha's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
This is in reference from something that suppositely happened to him in the 80's. I don't know if Mr. T needs anymore publicity. Anyway, I'm voting Mr. T for president. Anyone with me? -
Some of these lists you guys have made are truly amazing. You guys really take all the games you play quite seriously. The drive, the push, the adrenaline, the power, and will to survive, and to defeat all antagonists in a video game must be an overwhelmingly awesome experience for each and everyone of you. Am I right? That really sounded cheesy from my end.

Did you say Slim Jim?

A friend of mine sent this to my e-mail today. WARNING: Do not watch if you have vertigo! Check it out: Source: http://www.brightcove.tv/title.jsp?title=1...nnel=1408963331 So do you think you can do this? I just find it amazing how they walk on the metal bars (because the concrete over it broke off) like it's nothing. I'm surprised how the guy even filmed this. He either taped the camera to his head or held the camera in his hands the entire time. Not only that, but the whole idea of there being quite a few people walking the trail is just outright astonishing. I think with enough training I could walk the trail one-way, but walking back I'd honestly have to say I might just be a tad scared. Hmmm... now that I think about it, I think Fatal Rose, with his martial arts skills, could definitely walk the entire trail ... round-trip!

[1/15/08] I Am Legend (Movie)
Alpha replied to GodPigeon's topic in 1Emulation.com Reviews [/reviews]
I thought the movie was pretty good, and I also agree that Don_Illmatix was expecting too much. It's a movie and that not everything is going to make "logical" sense. It's just impossible to do that when you have zombies in a flick. I also thought the ending sucked, and so does the alternate ending, which you can find on YouTube. One of the laws of screen writing is to write the ending first, then start with the beginning. I don't think that was done with this movie. It just seemed like they ran out of ideas and spitted out this quick/short ending and gave you no proper closure. It was completely unnecessary for the main character to practically commit suicide, when he could have easily ran off with the girl. Just stupid. -
Think as you wish. Really though, stop trying to reply to every post. The world does not revolve around you, and as such, not every post is meant for you. No offense of course. Thread Closed.

I'm glad to know I'm not alone on this. Welcome to the club!

Okay, enough is enough. I think BP has had enough for the last few days. Anymore bickering will result in warns and/or bans being given. This thread has escalated into a black hole filled with nonsense. Either stay on topic, or create a new thread. Thank you for reading.

I had a feeling shame would come down upon me for revealing such startling numbers. A lot of games I just don't care for after a while. For example, I hardly remember playing Doom without God mode, and I never beat that game as well. I'd play it for a little while, then load up the next game. I never really gave a damn about finishing the game or even trying at that. Games to me are just games. I don't treat them as obstacle courses that must be finished.
-
Really? Oh boy ... I never even beat any of the Super Mario Bros. (1 and 2) from back in the day. That would maybe explain why I love multi-player games so much. I must have lazy-gamer syndrome.
-
I mean ever .... your entire life, with video games.
-
So what games have you beat/completed? Do you have a list of games? The problem with me is that I've only beat probably less than 10 games, due to getting easily bored from playing. I probably get through about 60% of the game and lose complete interest over time. I remember I was stuck on Fire Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for over 2 years, until a friend of mine beat it with me together until we got to Shadow Temple. I never completed the game. Now with Super Mario Galaxy, I've collected about 27 something stars, and need about 50 or so to win the game (at least that's how I remember it now). I haven't touched the game in over 2 months. Lost interest. Same with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS. I finished about 70% of the game, then got tired of having to go through the same levels a million times to get more minutes on the hourglass. I threw in the towel again and haven't played it for months. Now that I think about, I probably haven't beat that many games. In fact, the last game I remember completely beating was Dead to Rights on the PSP about 2 years ago. The game was short and easy. Don't get me wrong, I still have a desire to beat all three aforementioned games from beginning to end. I just always feel like I'm missing that motivation. Probably if someone waved a $100 at me for each game, I'd do it. Anyway, maybe this proves I'm not a true gamer, or I'm a lazy gamer at that. Back to the question -- what games have you beat (from beginning to end)? This doesn't have to include all the bonus, extra, unnecessary stuff that you can complete as well.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Arcade is closed indefinitely. Regardless, welcome. Ah - so it is. I'll have to do arcade work on Anarchy Live, then. But I'll stay here for the food. My goodness, it is the famous OratPart! I never thought I'd see you here. As for the arcade, it should be back very soon. Welcome to 1Emulation.

It's still appropriate to release the code once-in-a-while. some emu authors dont even release their sourcode. BTW, I noticed fumanchu that you call BritneyPAIRS as BS, whereas everyone else calls him BP. Please use BP for continuity, otherwise I think you may confuse people.

Okay, I received some messages regarding this thread. Seeing as how people have been going at it back and fourth, I'm not going to impose a ban or even a warn. What I recommend is for our members to use the built-in "Ignore" feature that is available on our forums. To ignore a member: http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php...amp;CODE=ignore OR Go to "My Controls" and on the bottom left, click on "Manage Ignored Users" under the "Options" box.

Big problem in Sonic Adventure 2!
Alpha replied to Crainy's topic in DreamCast & Saturn Emulators [/pc/dc+saturn]
Please do not post links to illegal commercial ROMs or ISOs here. It is against our board rules. Your account has been warned. -
So what was your winning bid? Congratulations. As for the tips, buy Super Smash Brothers Brawl and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
-
oh well, I doubt there would be any roms links, those of us with over 1000 posts know where to find what we want. Then what do you have in mind for it to include (not illegal)?
