Well, if you don't want to play on the XBOX or Dreamcast, emulating the games on the PC is the best way to go. Using PCSX and some good graphics plugins will boost the graphics just as good, and if not better than the DreamCast can do. Also Connectix Virtual Game Station was the only PSX emulator that was able to emulate every* PSX game perfectly on the PC. * = I think it was every, or just about, but don't quote me on it.

I have. It is quite difficult Anyway the PSP is the easy choice here- there is really no decision to be made. It's a PSP or nothing. Also, the size of the PSP screen is significantly larger. Widescreen > Small grainy screen!

You're using Bleem!Cast to play all your PSX games? There was only an old version of Bleem!Cast that was leaked out a few years ago in beta stages. However, it didn't play a lot of games well at all.

It's eventually going to come out for PC though, as it always does. The only problem is that it may take more or less than a year.

I was thinking the other day, when can we expect affordable Blu-ray burners and Blu-ray writable discs? Probably in the next 5 years or so, maybe? Does anybody have any good prediction, compared to the prices we have today? I see a Pioneer Blu-Ray burner is about $430.00 USD on Newegg. And 1 Blu-ray writeable (RE) disc is about $17.00 USD on Newegg, which holds only about 25GB. Sheeesh!

How well does PCSXBox emulate games on the XBOX1?

Seeing as how I have the PSP and GP2x, the PSP emulation is by far better. I was very disappointed with how bad the GP2x emulated a lot of games (ex: CPS2) that the PSP could do without a problem. Hell, you can emulate many Game Boy Advance games at full speed on the PSP, which you'll be lucky to even have a game playable on the GP2x. As far as I know, the second version of the GP2x doesn't change any of the internal hardware, but adds a touch screen. The GP2x also would freeze up a lot. I'm not sure what the differences of the second version of the PSP versus the first version of the PSP are though. Also, one other thing is for sure, the PSP has a much better and sharper screen. It's a huge difference when looking at games being played from the GP2x and/or PSP.

Did you guys softmod the XBOX?

Yeah, I thought that was a mistake when I first checked earlier today. That's not good. It might be a TRAP! I was thinking the same thing.. I'm a member of a few nice private trackers as is. IMO, private trackers are a joke, and nothing but a false sense of security. If anyone can get an account at these private trackers, then so can law enforcement, RIAA, MPAA, or whatever. It's only a matter of time.

GameCube games are hard to come by these days. New or used for that matter. The other problem is that all of them are way overpriced, since the Wii plays them perfectly. I'm very surprised that you were able to get StarFox Adventures for so cheap. I really want to get F-Zero GX and Metroid 1 and 2. I haven't even played Super Mario Sunshine either.

Shooters can get boring for me very fast. The only shooter I sort of enjoyed playing was Goldeneye 007 for Nintendo 64, mostly because of the awesome multi-player. Other than that, most first person shooters lack innovation for me. They all seem so cut and dry, same thing, over and over again. Although, I've heard a lot of great things about Bioshock and Portal doing something different. I also tried playing Crysis a while back. It was fun for a little while, but then I lost interest.

it's alittle late for a delay, with only 2 weeks to go on a huge release, they should already be pressing discs, my bet is the game gets leaked a week early like halo3 COD4, assassins creed and some other big name releases this year. when you see it in my sig you'll know it's out Since a lot of insiders and people already have the game, as you can see below (pic found on GameSpot): Some say the picture looks fake or photoshopped, but it looks pretty legitimate to me. I wouldn't be surprised if some idiot leaked the game tomorrow.

I hope the guy who got hit with the bat gets free tickets for life or a very large sum of money for compensation. This kind of crap should never happen. A baby or toddler could have easily been killed, as you can see in that picture. Some of these players don't think before they do.

You can run games from an external hard drive on the slim PS2, but it would have to be through the USB port. Unfortunately, the USB port on the PS2's are version 1.1 and not 2.0. And even more problematic, the data transfer rate is too slow, and a lot of the games will not work.

I was reading in last month's EGM that they're probably going to drop the price of the Playstation 3 to $299 for the 40GB version this summer. Can we expect a similar price drop for the XBOX 360? And when is the next/new motheroboard coming out for the XBOX 360? And is it still easy to flash the drive firmwares of the latest XBOX 360's?
