Jjangthekid Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 one of the hardest game i ever played was ninja gaiden triology for nes.. damn the spider was so freakin hard.. and i was around 9-10 at that time..and so i had no idea on what to do.. also that spider stage freaked me out..+ music..
Skythe Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Gitaroo-Man was hard the first time I played it but then my badass mode kicks in everytime I play it now. Same thing for Shinobi (PS2). Ikaruga is damn hard. I only got to the fourth stage. Most of the games you people put make me laugh cuz they weren't hard for me at all.
KyokugenKiss Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Another game to add to the current ones mentioned is Zombies Ate My Neighbors. I haven't met a person who has beaten that game. I also thought Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time was hard as hell. i beat both those games! the hardest game i can remember on hand for SNES was Maximum Carniage, it took me like a good 4 months to master and beat it finally

SNEs had it. But yeah, those games are hard as hell thanks to respawning enemies and the infamous knockback.

solidius23 Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 no on nes it was ninja gaiden 1,2,3it was ninja gaiden trilogy for SuperNEs
AntiWinner22 Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 I'll keep it simple: Dr. Jekyll & Mr Hyde (NES)Ikaruga (DC)Zombie's Revenge (DC)The Lion King (SNES) (I think I died a total of 70 times when I was 8 trying to get through a certain part of the game)Panzer Dragoon Orta (XBOX)Mercs (Genesis) Anon.
Shibathedog Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Ikaruga, Virtual On: Oranto Tangram, and Ninja Gaiden. There are like 700 more on the NES, but im not listing them all.
Jjangthekid Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 no on nes it was ninja gaiden 1,2,3it was ninja gaiden trilogy for SuperNEsooo my badl... i just thought 1,2,3= triology..so yea..haha] but that game sucked!1.
taratata Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 I think Shadow of the beast on Genesis can compete as well.
shin_nihon_kikaku Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Zombie's Revenge (DC)The Lion King (SNES) (I think I died a total of 70 times when I was 8 trying to get through a certain part of the game)Panzer Dragoon Orta (XBOX)That doesn't mean that it is hard nowadays for us. I was gonna say Zombie Revenge but didnt think it was exceptionally hard, just very hard. I'm not fault finding, just saying.
OverlordMondo Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 This is a VERY opinionated question. Some people are better at certain types of games than others. I found Halo on normal hard, while the Ninja Gaiden games were respectively easy.
L.S.D Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Samurai Shodown 2!!!!Mizuki is just plain cheesy.SSVS should have use this Mizuki.
Alpha Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 For me I would have to say it was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It was my last RPG and one of the best games I've ever played. However, sadly I never was able to get past Fire Temple.
