BobRedthorp Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 I live in the UK and I don't really know what can be done about it here, I know it's obviously illigal to download and share games and the like, but how far the UK law system takes such things, I'm unsure. The only thing I can say in my case is I only download old software... but then again that's no excuse. I do have to admit though, as days go on I think more about not downloading so-called illigal software, however when it comes to games I allways buythem for my Gamecube, PC, PS2, XBox, GBA etc etc... and for downloads it's mainly Dreamcast, Amiga and the odd PC utillity. I guess for me to completly stop right now, would be for someone in my country to get cought and see what happens to them. Just hope it's not me

Cause if you're downloading, ur prolly getting only about 50-75% of the game since ur downloading a beta which still has kinks and crap like that. But nowadays, I don't really download much games because there aren't really any interesting ones out there and Theres no way ever that I will download HL2. Its buy and enjoy or get a crappy sequel but still enjoy!

Think of this way for games and movies when u download it: 1. Its crap quality since theres some bugs Ex 1. CS: CZ: Some textures still had purple walls and crap like that so yuck! 2. Its beta so theres some stuff missing. 3. Even though you get to see the entire thing, its kinda stupid if you're missing some features unless u want to beat it. 4. There are some games that ppl enjoy and would actually buy just for the sake of gaming and playing online
