New Fba-xxx With Source

Has the prican build been uploaded to newsgroups yet ? and what differences are there to the romset from the last version.

sorry for the delay, it will be posted tonight for sure (in fact after this post)

 

ok, its posted in newsgroups and and now i finally got dats for neogeo, cps1/2, and others

 

i didn't bother to add the sega stuff since pc fba doesn't support sega stuff so if anyone who edits dats and wants to add them go right ahead.

 

now i'll post in newsgroups i mentioned in an earlier post, enjoy

hey prican, using your compile of fbaxxx, my svc, samsho5,3 and metal slugs 4,5 do not work... along with a few others... i checked them with the dat files that were available on the last fbaxxx build and they checked ok. they show up on the neogeo menu but im getting crc errors and missing p roms or something... is there a posting or torrent somewhere of a complete set that will work with this latest fbaxxx or at least of the neogeo roms? or maybe some info on how to rebuild these roms, the error messages go off the screen so i dont know exactly what im missing or what is wrong...

hmm well the thing is i only changed the mslug4 encrypted driver and added samsho5 bootlegs driver. other then that i changed the names of the nd sets of mslug4 and matrim to bootleg since thats what they are (mslug4b and matrimb) i removed svc boss since plus already has bosses (that made no sense to me) but the other 2 are the same and mslug5 i didn't even touch since it was correct as is.

 

using his dats won't help you as i did changes so grab my dats from newsgroup or pm me if you need them

Anyone getting Bank Error when running Samsho5 with this latest build?

I add samsho5 and samsh5nd drivers to FBAx and both get bank error.

But I add samsh5nd to mameox and it works perfectly

I think the best feature that FBA-XXX needs is a Rom Audit feature, so it only shows the games that will work on your screen. (the roms you have the correct sets for)

i get bank error also on samsho5.

 

i also get some test screen in mslug5 and i cannot get out of it.

mslug5 encrypted is not working in fba yet so just use the nd set
