Everytime I request this char on THE GUILD, people keep telling me I can find him online. So everyday for the past few weeks I've been googling like hell and searching through random threads to see what the deal is. All signs point to Street Mugen, Random Select, Mugenation, and Planet Mugen. He is not available for download on ANY of these sites and planetmugen isn't even up anymore. You know, I've been down with no$gmb since like 98/99. But since they started requiring you to register it, I started hating it. I knew back then that it had link support for gb/c, but it has link support for GBA you say? This is amazing...truly amazing.

try the others like sonic-x and All Grown Up and tell me if they work? Maybe I'm having trouble because I'm using xboyadvance. But XBA is based off of VBA so I dont see why it wouldn't work... The title screens come up fine....but the videos themselves dont show up at all.

Please tell me you did not just mention Shenpoo...quite possibly the worst game ever made. Sure it was revolutionary back in 99 but come on now...games have taken the interactive freedom idea and actually made GOOD games like True Crimes GTA and Mafia. Shenmue is old news...I can't believe I even rented Shenmue 2.

Then make sure you quickly slurp all that spit up because this hack is a royal disaster. A couple of Mugen vets were whining about how elecbyte did everyone sheisty so they decided to hack the linux version so that it works in windows. Apparently you can only add a maximum of two characters and the only modes of gameplay are Arcade, Vs, and Watch. The readme file says that it was hacked Jan 12, 2004 so any other talk about it being fake before that date was true...but now it's real. On the plus side...sound and music works fine...for those having XP troubles. Win Mugen loads up instantly and none of the scratchy sounds that are apparent when using XP. EDIT: Sorry but the mods said I had to remove the link cuz it wasn't an official elecbyte site. Apparently the crew that made it call themselves "elecbyte1" I dunno...

Any new recent news you find about WIN MUGEN is bogus, don't believe it, don't get your hopes up, or anything like that. Apparently there's a buncha whack README's flying around the web talking about the new hacked winmugen with bogus links and everything to boot. Don't believe the hype people... If you all are curious about where I got this information from...check these links out They say it was "haqued" on Jan 12, 2004, but who knows? It is amazing how dead Mugen has become...so sad.... MOD EDIT: No links to WinMugen unless it is from Elecbyte's homepage.

There was something about Double Impact that did not catch my attention like The New Generation did in the arcades (I've never seen 2nd Impact in the arcades). 3rd Strike definitely raised the bar A LOT, which is a good thing. Anyway Shaq Fu and Clayfighter were amazing games, I don't care what none of yall say. Not cuzza the gameplay but because of the comedy. These games are so bad that you have to love em. And Pit Fighter...come on guys? You can't tell me you weren't blown away by the graphics in that game back in 89 (90?). All of my money was always wasted (literally) on that game at the bowling alleys just to marvel at the graphics back when I was in Kindergarten. Sure Rise of the Machines, Eternal Champs, and some SF's and MK's were horrible but does no one remember "Ultraman" for the SNES? I mean the TV show was bad enough...then they made the ripoff show "Super Human Samurai Cyber Squad" but I doubt many of yall remember that too. Wait...what's the deal with Metal Slug 4? I mean I have the original Kawa-X plus with SVC Chaos and KOF2k2 running fine so I just FTPed the remaining roms (from your bit torrent thing) into the rom folder (Matrimelee, ROTD, and MS4). I know something has flown over my head here but nothing in "slug4.zip" in the torrent match the romset in Kawa-X plus' screenshot of "mslug4.zip" so it doesn't even begin to load up. I read something in the readme included in the torrent that said something about "The Metal Slug 4 patch has already been applied" but its not working man. All the other roms work fine cept this one.
