well look what happened to CvS that was dc original, now ps has its special version. As well as CvS2, is now spread to all 3 next-gen console.

Look at the bright side, be proud of owning a dreamcast along with those games, because they are the perfect arcade versions, they have deplucate the exact quality and concept of the arcade versions. If u can see the difference.. the next-gen console versions are ripped off, and they are alot different, which is suck of course, since its not as perfect as you think.

Hmm...so the Dreamcast versions are arcade perfect, you say? Then I must get those.

I was expecting the ones for the next-gen consoles to be better.

you take that back :)

Ive been playing Marvel vs. capcom 2 with my dc controller for almost 5 years, and it has always been reliable to me to use my skillz that are as good as I do it in arcade (sometime even better than joystick).

what you didnt know is that, sega has released an official joystick controller after a few months when the dreamcast was launched.

God I hate SF3: 3rd Strike. If they plan on updating it, give back Ibuki's Hashin Shou and I'll be happy.

DC's SF:TS is arcade perfect? Are you sure? Because I've always heard otherwise from members of SRK.

Anyhow, I just hope that if this happens, it's not in Japan only -- like how many games are -- and hopefully, this game makes it to the PS2 off-shores.

sounds like good news to me, even better if it makes it on X-Box. (I like the x-box pad best out of XB PS2 and DC) who knows if my DC makes it another year. or my ps2 for that matter.

I know that the big selling point of the DC was that it could handle arcade perfect ports of Naomi titles, seeing as it was so similar in hardware, and I even am willing to bet that CvS on the Ps1 had stuff missing, but the PS2 could handle the conversion easily. In fact, if anything, this title should be IMPROVED by the port.

F*** DREAMCAST... CONTROLLERS!!! :-D

You're such a C@@& sucker, you know they invented "adaptor converter" meaning you can use a ps2/ps1 contoller on your dc(i bought one even though i dont use it..what a waste 14 bucks down the drain...) but anyways you can have closest thing to arcade perfect it being dc and all but no you suck "c@$%" and you having the option of being able to download dc game off the net and burning them onto a regualr cd-r and not pay for them and no modification to the dc requierd(in most cases) but no you're a....Nevermind you get the point.

On another note. The "improvement" you guys are talking about in "cvs" is "cvs pro" which in the ps1 title was twicked up a bit with 2 more characters(dan and joe) and some other stuff which they did have on the dc but was a japan only title on the dc but which you can still find on bit torrent or "dc++" to download.

Relax fool, it was partly a joke. Geezus christ someone joked about dreamcast oh no it's the end of the world, I must type out a lengthy n thorough retort to feel better. :-D

I own a dc man, I like the system (it was easy to burn for n Sonic n Shenmue rocked), I just never liked the controllers. Don't lynch me now, geezus. :P

I have a 6 button DC controller. So it's all good. That PS2 better think fast to keep loading all the sprites in 3rd Strike. It handled GGX and GGX2 well so Im sure PS2 owners will get a pretty nice port. But honestly, I tested GGX for PS2 and GGX for DC side by side. The DC version loaded much faster and the controller responded better on DC. Clearly this won't be a "who's version is better" debate. The DC version will be the more perfect arcade port. The PS2 will just be a good substitute for the DC.
