Alpha Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 SNK will be testing the waters with a 3D version of their popular fighting series. The game is scheduled to hit the PS2 in Japan this December. KOF 3D will be the first SNK fighting game developed specifically for the Playstation 2. No other details are currently known about the game. Diso Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 There was a Game called KOF Online allowing you to pit ur favorite KOF character against others. So it seemed pretty crazy to have 5 Kyos fighting 5 Ioris It was 3d and all in JAP so it confusion

I think, if kof turn 3d this feeling will be lost.Don't get me wrong, I REALLY like Tekken, Virtua Fighter, DOA, Soul Calibur and the others amazing "eye-candy" fighting games, but NeoGeo games aren't about amazing graphic and so.They are a piece of videogame's history, if kof or mslug turn 3d the feeling will never be the same. Rag Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 It should and will stay 2d. It will be like EX, just like an extra game then it will go back to 2d. If you don't like it, don't buy it I might look into it though, I kinda liked EX. Don't get me wrong though, the 2d ones were better.
