I might give it a try, but i ha ve never skinned nothing with out tools that do it for you lol No links sorry, but I would like to skin it "down the line" when I have finished with what I am currently working on. OH YEAH, I hope its as good as the megadrive skin you done, that was sweet.... Nice one made my day...

xorloser Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 (edited) I have recently installed CoinOPS Reignite X onto an xbox in an arcade cabinet that i have started using again. I would like to know if there is a romcenter style dat file for this release that contains only the arcade games that run without crashing? i'd love to be able to verify i have correct versions of all the playable roms cos it sux when you go to play a game that doesnt work and i need to switch the system on and off again thanks for this nice release. xorloser Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 oh also i'd like to put in a feature request for an option to turn off checksum checks on rom files as i am currently looking into hacking the roms of some of my favourite games. currently it seems i would need to patch the mame.xbe file with the new checksums each time i alter any files. alternately is there a way i can play "unknown" roms and load these hacked files in this way? (i am guessing not as i would assume each rom is emulated specially for the particular set of hardware it was created for) thx

There is a guide on using it, but I gotta chip off to work now sorry I will PM the link if that helps

dballs Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 (edited) I've gotten all of RX's xtras with videos for arcade. i installed coinops reignite X. there are about 1717 arcade games. However, coinops loads games very very slowly. from when i click on a game it hangs at the frozen rom browser for 20 seconds then it goes blank for 25 seconds and finally at ~50 secs to a minute the game is ready to play. also when i choose reboot xbox from the options menu it takes seemingly as long to exit out of coinops. the rest works fine! the emu loads very fast. idk. any thoughts as to why this is happening?
