L.S.D Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Anyone watch this already? I really like it, feel like one of the more original sci-fi movies for a long time. The acting by the main actor is really great.
veristic Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Yeah man... the movie was fucking genius. I saw trailers for it a while back and just thought man, this is what transformers could've been like. That little alien robot suit was magnitudes better then the fucking transformers cg. Michael Bay could learn a thing or two. I watched it in the shitty 2nd row though. I might watch it again, properly next time.
L.S.D Posted August 16, 2009 Author Posted August 16, 2009 I really love the storyline. But my wife hate the movie. She can't stand those jerky Blair Witch type of shooting, but i think it is brilliant. Make it like a real news or something. And yes, that bipedal monster is so amazing

Even for action geeks, this movie will deliver on it (albeit a bit slow, thankfully I was there for the story, not the explosions). I'm going to go watch it again at least 4 more times from what I can tell.

But things didn't pan out the way he wanted it. I'm glad he backed out with some pride and not let people take advantage of his talents. Spielberg.......that man infuriates me. He'll just rape this concept like he has with his last 6 or 7 films or turn it into some other scientologist psycho-babble conspiracy crap.

Right....halo had the best storyline ever, it's right up there with FFVII and Metal Gear series. The only movies I like from Spielberg is Schindler's list and ET. Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers mean nothing to you...figures.
