Lucandrake Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 It's cool belth. Anyways, the one question I have to all of you who do smoke on a daily basis, how did you all start, if you even remember.
Robert Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Meh, I thought she was quite nice about it really. Anyway she hasn't visited for a month so there's probably nothing to worry about. hahaha... If only I had a girl currently... HA!Wait a second, you broke up with Explosive Misanthropy? I can't believe you didn't know that. Anyway back on topic please. If I was an employer I wouldn't hire any smokers. All that time wasted out the front puffing away, is not value for money, that's for sure.
XtecuterX73 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I have never had even a single fag. I don't know if that's something to be proud or slightly ashamed considering the peer pressure going on. This isn't the 80s.......smoking is a disgusting habit I wish I didn't have. Anyone who thinks it's cool or is proud of it is a f**king retard. i wholeheartedly agree man, all these kids think they look so cool, it's pretty stupid. I hate that i ever smoked one and now 14 years later it's hard to put em down. HF-
Krosigrim Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Well thanks anyway. How did I start? Hmmmm. I don't remember much from before I moved to NC for awhile. I remember I was really really stressed out. I remember having a cig too soon from having a previous one, and feeling extremely ill because of it. I don't really remember specifically starting. But I do remember not smoking much at all. So where I can help in this respect, is the effect on a newbee. Why did I smoke? Well apparently it was to help soothe my nerves. And... pass time... I suppose. These are not good reasons, but are there any good reasons to begin such a habbit? No. I am out of smokes right now, and am fighting the urge to head up to the store. I can totally do without, but I have this urge to do something. I have grown so accustomed to it, that it bothers me that something holds power over me.... that... is not entirely accurate. The problem is within me, not the cigarette. I have lost a part of me that is my namesake. Will. What an ironic shame. HAHAHA Peer pressure was not the cause. I believe I began with ultra lights, and kept to Marlboro lights ever since. And all the people I have been meeting of late are smokers......... guess I cannot expect less from a call center.
Inky Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 starting for me was total peer pressure. No one was ever like " here smoke this cig or you won't be cool like us" or whatever you see on TV. it was more just they were doing it, I was entering their group and felt like I needed to belong. classic stupid teen thinking.
Bambi Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I always pictured Belthasar smoking in my mind...all the pics of him breathing fire just stuck!
Krosigrim Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Why does that make me smile... I guess I like to hear about me breathing fire. I mean... how often does that happen?

Inky Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 anyone ever seen one of those "E cigarettes" a buddy of mine has one and he is completely off the real stuff. he can even use it in places you can't smoke. I've been thinking of getting one but the initial investment is a bit high. http://www.e-cig.org/

Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I smoke, been smoking since 14, am 20 now, a pack and a half a day now, I enjoy it, I know most people don't, I don't care, it wasn't peer pressure, I know it's fuqking me up, I'll live.
Hard Core Rikki Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 No smoking. Unhealthy, as well as would be a bad example to impressionable youths.
