Got the background music all sorted a while ago. I ripped the Battle Garegga tracks from the Saturn version at the highest quality possible to work with when mixing the tracks, then converted the final piece down to 64bit wma like FBA needs to play.

I tried that skin IceMan posted up it looks good if you guys complete it or add whatever it is your doing to it you mind making a "new" thread and post it there that way me and others can find the completed version easier + add the correct aspect ratio labeled for each, none the less good crap/job!!!!!!

Just waiting on the final xml from cba.gy and I'll update the rars I have and link to them all. There'll be a rar with everything you need in, the songs, both sets of pictures and both xmls, for people who haven't tried the earlier releases. Then there'll be a rar with just the updated HD pictures and HD xml, for HD users who already grabbed the first release of the SD skin. And there'll also be a rar with just the updated SD pictures and SD xml, coz I made slight modifications to them too. I was thinking of putting it in the thread that's just been bumped called FBA-XXX Skins, since that seems to make sense. I'll explain the different rars there too. Or I could make a new thread all together if you think that'd be better.

Quick update to the skin my end, The_Ice_man version differs slightly, however the config is the same.

Poor quality picture this morning, maybe the camera, probably me. Anyway, you get the idea.

Yes you may, I'm in the middle of uploading the full updated versions. I'll link to them in the thread called FBA-XXX Skins. Be about half an hour coz of crappy upload times.

I've been testing the NeoGeo games in 720P mode lately (when I've had a chance). I'll let you know how things are going kenshiro.

 

Work (and the GF) have been a pain in the ass, but we all know how important having a job is in this recession.

 

I've got some time off to get on this so I'll keep at it and report back soon.

Glad you like, only made it thanks to your suggestion come to think. HD's never on my mind when it comes to my xbox, since it's plugged into a 14 inch portable TV in my bedroom. Out of interest, what happens if you run FBA in HD and use a 640x480 skin then? Does it just stretch the image?

Now I seem to have a problem. When I load FBA in 720p it comes up as 1/4 of my screen. I don't know what the problem is? Maybe my TV? Or the cables I'm using?I have a Sony Bravia XBR 6 37 inch with monster component cables. 480p works fine but my TV seems to have a hard time switching from XBMC in 720p to FBA in 480p.

 

Well that was weird I had a square in the upper left hand corner because the screen size was still set to 640/480. Once I stretched the screen out the skin looked perfect.

 

I did a little bit of testing with 720p and it seems that most of the cps2 stuff still have problems. Progear and AvsP ran fine but XMvsSF, XMCOTA, gave a black screen. SFA 3 and MvsC gave a wierd error that turned the screen white and then the background went away. Is there a compatibility list for 720p I thought i saw one somewhere?
