Gryph Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 Less than a week till it comes out! I'm so excited. I got tickets for the midnight showing here.
Mooney Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I'm ready for it to come out so all of the damned commercials will go away soon.
Alpha Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I was looking at the list of theaters that will show it in iMax, but they are all too far away from me. Oh well, I guess I'll have to see it at a regular theater then. I've also read that ticket sales for this movie are going through the roof with people already purchasing thousands of tickets online. It'll be interesting if it can beat Spider-Man's record. The marketing for this movie has been amazing with hidden Joker websites, to the trailers, and beautiful posters. I hope the movie will be just as delightful.
Skythe Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 And don't forget alot of people will see it for Heath's last movie.
Gryph Posted July 12, 2008 Author Posted July 12, 2008 It'll be interesting if it can beat Spider-Man's record.I think it already has.
BlackKnight Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 It's funny how these blockbusters keep breaking each other's records in an age where they reckon people go to the movies less than they used to. I'm seeing a screening on Monday (tomorrow) night. I am pumped. I hope it doesn't disappoint... I've been watching Batman Begins again and I must say it isn't all as great as I remember it :/
Fatal Rose Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Me and Salorskin might be going on a double date to see this.
Gryph Posted July 13, 2008 Author Posted July 13, 2008 I think it already has. What do you mean? I think I heard on E! entertainment news that presale tickets have already surpased Spiderman 3 first weekend ticket sales.
solidius23 Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 i cant wait, i have not heard one bad review for this movie yet.
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 So far no scene release T_T, not even a screener.

I've been watching Batman Begins again and I must say it isn't all as great as I remember it :/ That may be true for North America but now there are more theatres in the rest of the world. That may be true since the director pointed out that he made the first Batman movie in order to prove to others that he could make a successful Batman movie. Nolan suggests that this new Batman movie allows him to be more creative since he doesn't feel he needs to prove himself because of the success of the first movie.
BlackKnight Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Psst, guess where I'm getting dressed up to go tonight?
