heres a shooter for the ps1 called stahlfeder that i just found out about and it plays really well on pcsxbox.

the devolepors of this game seem to have taken ideas from other shooters like the main ship design from gigawing and the spead fire gun from raiden.

I didn't like Stahlfeder at all, very average. Btw it was released in 1996, 3 years before Gigawing

 

Try getting Airgrave by the same company, it's quite a bit better.

looking at that vid just now and the game looks more 16bit than 32bit.

but im gonna get it anyway.

I noticed Bonus 7Js hacked Rtype 3 rom for SNES. I'm going to try it too - whats different with the standard rom?

looks like a great game, thanks for that post fumanchu, ill have to give that a try, do these games run pretty good without frameskip? Prob a stupid question but i have to ask, lmao.

well swiv does not need frameskip but some games require some thinkering with the frameskip option but no big deal.

been playing raptor on dosxbox,pretty good shmup in a raiden fighters type style game.

thanks for the info, ill have to give it a try and see what happens. I been thinking about trying out some of the older stuff. Swiv and raptor look like great games by the way.

found the golvellius 2 translated to english disk for msx, this game is friggin sweet. It's tough in some parts but a really good play.

Still playing my Electon emulator on PC till i make a port. Gotta love Chuckie Egg. Repton's still fun too.

Sometimes even get the original machine out and load games either through stereo system or mp3 player as i have the roms recorded to newer devices also.
