Rag Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 Just wondering, in your guys' opinions, do you prefer Winamp or Windows Media Player? Or do you like any other media player? I'm looking for a good one.

emsley Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 because i have a radeon pro gard, i use the Divx player for Divx films it plays them, much better and is less of a memory pig than say media player, for music i just use media player really.

Realplayer is good too but unless U have sound, it sucks
Rag Posted October 22, 2003 Author Posted October 22, 2003 I use Winamp occasionally. My only problem with it is it seems to be a bit buggy and slow. That might be just for me, so i'll just continue using Windows Media Player 9.

DreamCastLover Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 I don't use WMP for anything really if I can help it, it's rubbish. Winamp I use for MP3s and midis, I use BSplayer for most movies and a combination of other ones for DVDs and VCDs etc.

Alpha Posted October 25, 2003 Posted October 25, 2003 Ahggg I hate Windows Media Player. It eats my system resources like crazy and it takes forever to load. Winamp is the greatest because it's small, loads your songs fast, and much easier to use. Whenever you load a song in Windows Media Player, you always have to click on "Now Playing" or it's going to spend forever trying to load the Microsoft Windows Media Page.

ME! Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 my wmp loads just fine. i dont have a top of the line pc at the moment either. its about a yaer and a half old. i just like having all my files sorted in one place. nice and neat.
