Agreed with BK. Furthermore, I have had enough news of celebrities making an ass of themselves. Unless some foul play are confirmed here, i would not take any interests on this news.

depending on how well he plays the joker, i might or might not care about his death. like the others said, i don't know him on a personal level and is not emotionally attach to him to i don't really care about him. and with people dying everyday, i kind of stop caring about random people dying.

A man died and all you sick bastards can think about is if you get a movie... Jesus Christ on a pogo stick...

he was a drug addict. flock him. and I'll say the same thign when Amy Winehouse ODs on crack and Brittney ODs on cheetos and starbucks.

we don't know that for sure. the pills he OD'd on were sleeping pills, he might have just had a rough week or something. besides, no known offense has been recorded of him using drugs. he had a 2 year old daughter that needed taking care of and his career was doing ok, so I doubt he used any drugs.

Thus far, all he'll be remembered for is that he played a gay cowboy.

I really hope DK does well to lift that status off. Ledger was awesome on Brothers Grimm (that movie was awesome, I don't care what ANYONE says).

He most likely accidentally mixed meds or ODed.. no real reason for him to suicide. He even said in a press conference lately that his daughter is reason enough for him to keep living.

Call me an ass, but I don't care one bit about ANYBODY who dies of a suicide or overdose, intentional or otherwise.

Now if he was killed in a car accident or gunfire, maybe then there'd be somewhat of a "that sucks" attitude, as it wouldn't have been his fault.

I don't view this as him being an actor, but more so that he was a person. He had memories, he had feelings, he had family, and when someone dies, famous or not, then you should think about the way the people who cared about him feel... not what movies he was in, or ones he was in the process of making... It's not about that.

When my grandma died, I kept telling myself, "she's gonna wake up.... Not my grandma, there's no way she died, she's sleeping, and she'll wake up." what do you think his kid would think, she probably has not really grasped the concept of death... and thinks he's sleeping. I'm sure she's not thinking about what movies he was in.

none the less none of us knew him personally, and it sucks that he died, drugs, or suicide or whatever...

I saw on the news something a fan had written on a paper flower, it said, "You were so good looking" and, "we will miss you."

Makes me wanna slap a b!tch...
