Salorskin Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I saw Ju-on 2. It was seriously a great horror flick, just... strange. 7/10
emwearz Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 While I enjoy Taxi Driver, I have always thought its highly overrated. All the left over crap from number 2, quite boring without many laughs.
Inky Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 the eye. I never seen the original Jap ver. so I dunno, but it was alright. Horton hears a Who. good stuff I was laughing my ass off when horton was pretending he was in a anime.

Wishdokta Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Recently had ; - Lord of War (solid Cage Movie)- The Descent ('s ok once a year. Anyway better than it's sister The Cave)- Tomb Raider 1 (First time. More enjoyable than the sequel)- In the Valley of Elah (Mr. Jones once more as hard played Detective-like character)
Robert Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 I'll occasionally watch something on TV in between the ads. Just finished with Pearl Harbour, meh, lots of American flags on show.
Inky Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 I'll occasionally watch something on TV in between the ads. Just finished with Pearl Harbour, meh, lots of American flags on show.well it IS a story about Americans
emwearz Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 (edited) well it IS a story about AmericansFor Americans. Hollywood WW2 movies tend to suck as they become this big pile of "AMERICA **** YEA!" and make out that every American loves America and they never did anything wrong in the slightest, etc. There not all like that....but most of them. At times they can feel like American Propaganda films. For instance in this case, I don't recall through out the movie the ban trade to Japan (America was meant to be neutral at this time) due to Japans ongoing war with China. Im not saying the events at Pearl Harbour were warranted, I don't believe they were and it was a horrble loss of human life. My point is Hollywood movies tend to leave out certain facts. Thats why when its comes to WW2 I much prefer to read books then watch movies. Edited March 23, 2008 by emwearz
