Wishdokta Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 The Perfect Storm Back from 2000. Honestly, enjoyed better Poseidon and Day After Tomorrow within the 'catastrophy movies'.
emwearz Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 I just watched both The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Gremlins 2, Jesse James is a pretty good movie, slow at times but fairly solid and very good acting by Casey Jackson. Gremlins 2 is utter crap compared to the first. (Though I had seen it before, my sister rented it out and thought I might as well give it a watching).
TapeWurm Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 very good acting by Casey Jackson. Who is that?? You mean Casey Affleck??
Tynvar Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 "The Perfume" It was quite stinky LOL... bad pun I know... It's a movie about this guy that murders women to steal their scent. The whole stalking thing is ok but once the end nears it really, really, really stinks. The bank sent me the DVD for using my credit card, so I have it because it was free... well sort free if you think about it.
Wishdokta Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 (edited) Agreed. The joke about "The Perfume" was imho the fact writing about fragrances (referred to the book as origin). Which was an interesting invite for imagination. But the movie won't adept to the magic, indeed. Edited March 5, 2008 by Wishdokta
emwearz Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Who is that?? You mean Casey Affleck??Haha, yea. Got my names all jumbled up.
Fatal Rose Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Decent movie, a bit over hyped to be honest, at least thats my opinion. 6/10
TapeWurm Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I thought american gangster blew goat balls.Agreed. Nearly fell asleep time after time in the theater watching this piece of crap. And could that ending have angered me a little more? Doubt it.
Fatal Rose Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Yeah I agree. But I was bored and it served as a decent time filler.
emwearz Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 It was so much weaker than the first two movies though.
Fatal Rose Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Cheezy as hell but when compared to other movies of it's genre/time period it's pretty good.7.6/10
