I started reading this thread, but I'm a little confused. Where is it that I find the SVC Chaos ROM? I'm sure I'm real late on this, but like I said, I'm new. James Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 Hey is there a way to change the rom version because when im running it under kawaks. it is in spanish (while in window mode)while the game is running goto game TAB then neogeo settings the settings are there.... there is no need to set it to console if it is still in spanish then while in game press the test menu key (this has options for the game etc... but this will depend on what key this has been set to. mine has been set to F2 if you are not sure what your player keys are go to the game TAB then redefine keys player 1 that should show you . CLN Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 Ok, need help. The Rom works on Nebula, but it run really, really, slow. I tried getting to work on MAME and it finds all the files except 269_p1, 269_s1, and 269_m1. The files are in the zip so I don't know what's the problem. Any suggestions?

I ftp'd the files mentioned in the previous posts and unzipped them...when I start wkloader.exeall I get is "no romset loaded" when I hit enter...ok assuming I'm supposed to load the rom, it doesn't seem to be detected.. I configured my directories, but still not detected... and listing doesn't show it either (!?)any help would be appreciated, it seems the roms are there.. but not in 2xx format...

Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 unzip your svcplus into a new directory then rename all your roms to look like thissvc_??.zip (?? stands for each rom). then zip the files back and put the zip in the roms directory!! use filemirrors to get a new svcplus!

I have tried to get SVC Plus working on it, but it keeps on hanging just before a fight starts. For me, it works smoothly in Nebula ver. 2.23 C, but you have to edit the NeoGeo dat file in Nebula first.
