ok ducky after testing your links neither of them work once on the puter kept say a p1 rom was missing and the emu didnt even have Svsc in the list

Kawaks v1.46 sVc Rom Guide!

 

First thing you must do is download the Emulator, You can get it here!

 

(Prepared Hacked) Kawaks v1.46 Download!

 

Now you need the rom if you don't already have it...

When security warning comes up Click Yes! Read site if you don't understand why.

Read This Before Going On!!!

 

EDIT: Rom Links has been fixed, There all the same file, just diffrent hosts

 

Now we begin!

 

1st: Open the.zip called kawaks_146_with_loader.zip that you downloaded

2nd: There should be a folder in there, simply drag it on to your desktop or extract it to there.

3rd: That's all for the emulator for now (Was that so hard?)

4th: Now open the folder you dragged to your desktop, it should be named kawaks_146_with_loader.

5th: Now open the folder called roms and minimize the folder now.

6th: Locate your svcplus.zip, either copy or simply drag it into the roms folder or paste it.

7th: Now either click back in the kawaks_146_with_loader folder or exit out and reopen it.

8th: Click the exe called 146loader.exe and it should open the emulater, so far so good

9th: Now do this in the exact order...

 

Click:

File

 

Then Click:

Load Game or press ALT+L

 

A dialog will pop askig you to choose which rom you want to load.

Before we click the rom, on the right side there options, now do this...

 

Click:

Only Avaliable

 

Now Check:

Show CPS1 games

Show CPS2 games

Show NeoGeo games

 

Once you do that...

 

Click:

Rescan all

 

The rom will then show

 

Click the rom once then hit [OK]

 

10th: The rom will begin

 

Once it starts up though you need to configure your controls...

 

Click:

Game

 

Click:

Redefine keys... > Redefine keys Player 1

 

If you want it simple, setup up the buttons like that... on the Number Pad

 

                           [start (Little Buddy Dude) = Whatever you like)

                 Up Arrow                                     [Coin = Whatever you like]

Left Arrow   Joystick  Right Arrow    [4] [1] [5]

               Down Arrow                    [2] [3] [6]

                                                     Buttons

 

meaning... 6 and 3 are just there

4 = Light Punch

1 = Heavy Punch

2 = Light Kick

3 = Heavy Kick

 

Ok set them up to your needs

 

Once done Click (OK)

 

Now you got to save your Button Config.

 

Click:

Game

 

Then Click:

Save settings to.ini now

 

That's it your all done!!!

 

Enjoy the game and if you want to play on-line just

Click:

Game

Start Netplay

 

Find a server and just find someone with SVCPLUS [bootleg]

Click the game, the ok.. and wait for him to start it

the link to your whole rom ducky is only 39.49 mb thats not the correct size it should be like 40.1

It's the rom, it's nothing else b/c your right it's 39megs and it's supposed to be 40.1... I don't know any other links on the top of my head for the right rom, if you do can you just change it for me or AIM me on F3ARlessDUCKY on AIM...

thats the size it came out to when I compressed it to. If you used 7zip w/maximum compression, then thats the size it'll come to...so no need to worry

Not to make anyone feel bad or anything like that, but I am noticing a lot of repeats of the same question. Search through the topic first, it will answer many of your questions

 

Otherwise, good job on the converting and contributing to the svc chaos rom

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but I have tried around 5 different versions of the loader and the problem remains the same:

 

After opening Kawaks 1.46 hacked loader none of the games listed in the.dat file show in ANY of the lists (Show Available, Show All, Show NeoGeo) This includes KOF2k and SNK Vs Capcom amongst others.

 

After opening Kawaks 1.45 the list shows all games that the emulator can play which includes SNk Vs Capcom and it plays perfect, but this game is always missing from the 1.46 loader for me.

 

I've also had someone d/l the rom from me to try it on an exact copy of my 1.46 loader only to be told that its working fine for them!?!?

 

Any ideas as to why it does this?

 

The only coincidence I have come across so far is everyone who seems to be able to play it thorugh 1.46 is on Windows XP or Windows 98.

 

I am on win2k myself and am yet to come across another person using 2K who can get the 1.46 loader to display the games :/

 

Any Ideas?

you need the romcenter dat i can see you have not done that

 

 

put the dat in the datas folder within romcenter directory

is the second link on the list http://svcmame.cjb.net/

 

then use the mame 77.1 dat from the menu if you have the correct rom it will tell you
