Well, ive just tested the same 1.46p emu from my machine on a winXP machine and it works fine. If theres anyone else who is using windows 2k and has SVC running through 1.46 please post a link to a working copy of the emulator here please!!!!!!!!

Yea i have 1.46p as well Im using win2k and it has no option to change compatability which is the only thing I can think of that might make it work. Main reason i wanna get it in 1.46 is so I can play online, playing against the computer is boring and im the only user on kaillera that I have know of thats using 1.45 and i desync after 1-2 mins, havn't seen any nebula users either

I've been reading the thread since day one practically and do you really think i'm naive enough to not set the rompath!? I did say I have it running in kawaks 1.45 because the games in the.dat file show up in 1.45 in the list even when you don't have the roms. Like I said, kawaks 1.46 loader isn't showing games from the.dat file in the game list. For me both the hacked loader and the original winkawaks.exe display identical game lists. This isn't a problem with the rom itself, ive checked all crc entries in the.dat file alongside the rom and they are identical, but the rom won't run unless it appears in the gamelist. It has to be a problem with the hacked loader somewhere, what a lot of people don't realise is there are around 5 versions of it going around in different 1.46 hacks, but the build of the loader is the same in each so theres no point trying different loaders. Someone suggest something besides renaming roms and setting rom paths plz Just a quick note, setting the rompath will only result in displaying games that you have in your roms dir when you select the Only Available option in kawaks, it doesn't change the default gamelist that is displayed when you select Only Missing which is the problem i'm having, SNK Vs Capcom should show up in the missing list but it doesnt, so its not gonna appear even if i have it coz the emulator doesnt actually know it exists

Why doesn't my kawaks 1.46 read the src data from the.dat files? Works fine in 1.45 but not 1.46, how come? And no this hasn't been answered yet as I've been trying it for close to a week now and the hacked loader for 1.46 just shows the default game list, nothing in the.dat shows up

Just out of curiosity, how do I make my own Kawaks Loader? The problem I seem to be having is the Kawaks Loader isn't reading the.dat file containing the rom information for svc.

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but I have tried around 5 different versions of the loader and the problem remains the same: After opening Kawaks 1.46 hacked loader none of the games listed in the.dat file show in ANY of the lists (Show Available, Show All, Show NeoGeo) This includes KOF2k and SNK Vs Capcom amongst others. After opening Kawaks 1.45 the list shows all games that the emulator can play which includes SNk Vs Capcom and it plays perfect, but this game is always missing from the 1.46 loader for me. I've also had someone d/l the rom from me to try it on an exact copy of my 1.46 loader only to be told that its working fine for them!?!? Any ideas as to why it does this? The only coincidence I have come across so far is everyone who seems to be able to play it thorugh 1.46 is on Windows XP or Windows 98. I am on win2k myself and am yet to come across another person using 2K who can get the 1.46 loader to display the games :/ Any Ideas?

I've had the rom for a few days now, and the file you supplied...the Kawaks 1.45 with loader works perfect. However, I really want to play it online and everyone on kaillera servers uses 1.46. Ive followed all the instructions on www.neogamez.net and I have tried SO many variations of fixing the rom but 1.46 still refuses to detect the rom Could someone construct a kawaks 1.46 version or something coz Im so desperate to play online and Ive spent most of my day zipping and unzipping the svc file with no luck....help!
