It's about 60 here, but it's been flopping back and forth between hot and cold. It's annoying. Also, it's been spitting rain for two days or so. As soon as it gets colder it'll snow like crazy. I always get depressed in the winter. I like to look at the snow for about 10 minutes after it falls, and then it can just GO AWAY. I always get cabin fever. Lately I've been running around trying to "batten the hatches" and get everything prepared for winter. It's serious business out here. People are stocking up on kerosine and buying tarps. But I digress. It's not so cold here yet. I don't mind the cold. I like wearing coats. (I've got some cool ones)

It's been cold for a week or two near me. Around 50 F, but that's with Lake Michigan 3 blocks away from my house. Supposedly the lake effect keeps things warmer...

Or makes things colder under certain conditions. On the plus side you can run across it and reach canada.

Wrong state/lake. I can walk across Lake Michigan to Michigan. I'd have to walk north then cross Lake Superior to get to Canadia. But yeah, the lake also makes my summers cooler.

You wouldn't want to shovel my laneway when it gets the full snowfall, I'll post a pic in January when it does

Canadian weather is something no one should experience.

Everyone needs to expierence it once just to know how much it sucks

I hope this winter is mild though. Last year was pretty rough, but the year before with that huge snow storm was crazy, learning crap from the 98 ice storm really woke us up.

Haven't seen a good snowfall in my area of Canada in like 8+ years, sold BOTH my snowmobiles because of it. Hell a few years ago I was seeing rain in February......wrong, so wrong.

I hope we get pounded this year, I want to buy another snowmobile and not regret it.

Used to ride my GT snowracer off the roof of my 2 story house the snow got so high when I was younger. Drifts could reach right to the roof sometimes.

BTW, 2 degrees here right now.........wife wants me to go get coffee from Tim's. HA!

Damn...... It's like 70 outside right now, maybe just a tad cooler. But the thing here in Florida, I'm sure the Reaperman can attest to, is its too humid. When its hot, Its this weird kinda status ailment. One day I was riding a bike, during the peak of summer, and it was so humid, my sweat wasn't evaporating. I'm not kidding, usually the air evaporates the sweat, causing a cooling effect. NO!!! not this day, It was like a sauna, but with wind. And when it gets cold, (cold for us thin bloods) The humidity chills our bones. 50 degrees when it's humid feels like 30. Damn this crazy weather.

yeah it's gets humid as fuck over here. I agree with almost everything Belthasar said. It gets pretty bad here sometimes, but the humidity when it's cold isn't that bad, since cold air has trouble keeping moisture anyway ;p

It was 40 Fahrenheit here last night, a nice change from summer. I'm gonna end up missing summer now though, because it's difficult to sell ice to people in the winter. :thumbsup1:

Ya'll are worrying about the cold while my neck of the woods is worrying about forest fires. Kinda funny how different geographies bring about different issues.
