Robert Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 salah? That would have to be one of the most meaningless errors i have ever seen. The only clue is code 5 which means access denied. To what, who knows. It could be a file, a folder, an area of memory, or anything really. Sorry can't help you further.
Agozer Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 I don't want to sound rude, but do you seriously expect us to know what that means, let alone tell you how to make it go away? As ridiculous as it sounds, you'll have better luck asking Microsoft's support directly.
olaf Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Why're you using Internet Explorer? There are so many other, and much better, web browsers.
Lucandrake Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 To answer your question, your using internet explorer, that's what's wrong.
Robert Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 I use Internet Explorer, and it's fine for me. Anyway he said "any net app", so it's not just IE. Perhaps he needs more tcp ports open. XP SP2 does have that pointless limitation by default.
ken_cinder Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 No flags, only a memory address..........I'll lay $5 on your RAM wigging out on you soon, that or you're overclocking too high (Again see previous statement). Is the address the same every time, or close in range?
SF2MJ Posted July 21, 2007 Author Posted July 21, 2007 (edited) I fixed the whole problem by installing IE 6 service pack 1.Thanks anyway.I just wanted to know if you guys think that mozilla's firefox is a good web browser?.Or do you recommend any other web browser program?. Robert Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Most ppl like Firefox but it can take ages to start up here. Some ppl find it's a memory hog.
GodPigeon Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Its the best. its a memory Hog when you have too many Add-ons (Which makes firefox great) so u kinda cant escape it IE = Teh gHey FF FTW
James Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Most ppl like Firefox but it can take ages to start up here. Some ppl find it's a memory hog. I have no idea why people like Firefox, I think its a POS and it will never be better than IE I use IE7 on XP and vista and have no problems at all, Even loads up pages faster than Firefox and thats even with FF been tweaked.

I have no idea why people like Firefox, I think its a POS and it will never be better than IE You really are one of the strangest persons I have ever met. For me, Firefox takes around 5-7 seconds to start up the first time, having to initialize 15 extensions. Subsequent restarts take around 2-3 seconds. Firefox uses around 72MB of RAM in my computer.

Ok, Yes I am strange nothing new there , IE7 Only uses 32mb on windows vista here. For me FF was slow to load up, pages loaded slow and used more ram than IE.IE works the way i want without the need of silly add ons Just because I think Firefox is crap, Does not mean I am strange. IE works for me and see no reason to use Firefox.. So if anyone asks what broswer to use, I would suggest they use what best suits them, Just because something may work for you, does not mean its going to work well for them.
Robert Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 I still use good old IE6 on this windows 2000 professional pc.IE6 is currently using 19 mb, and it works fine for me.
