Cominus Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 So I stumbled across this site. Gay Gamer Dont ask me how, I just did. Since when did gay people have thier own gaming sites? I always thought gaming was a unisex thing.
Robert Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Depends on what kind of games they are talking about I guess...
Elazul Yagami Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 actually, there was a really homosexual game a few years back... japan only though.
BlackKnight Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Not that Cho Aniki crap? That sh!t is still going...
Agozer Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Not that Cho Aniki crap? That sh!t is still going...What are you saying? The entire Cho Aniki "series" is most excellent.
GodPigeon Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Well il leave those Gaymers alnoe in thier own little world. That was just straight up wierd
Shibathedog Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 i think i stumbled across an article on that site a long time ago....whatever, looks equally as stupid as "PMS Clan" and those "Gamer Chick" websites.
Cominus Posted April 22, 2007 Author Posted April 22, 2007 They talk about all games, I checked out the fourms and damn, was I in gay land.
Alpha Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Their logo is a bit petrifying ... otherwise, I have no comment.
DropDeadEd Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Their logo is a bit petrifying ... otherwise, I have no comment. At the risk of sounding homophobic, It's selfish of gay people to single themselves out just because of their sexual identity. they can easily have just joined a site like this one to discuss games. It's apparent that this site takes all comers.

WHich I don't think the people here would except for some individuals who like to call people "fag"

BlackKnight Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Maybe they are scared that they might be ignored/chatised/make fun of if people know they are gay here. WHich I don't think the people here would except for some individuals who like to call people "fag" The irony is though that by isolating themselves from everyone else they are only enforcing the 'otherness' and pinning themselves up for further ridicule. That logic of minorities that look for acceptance while singling themselves out from the mainstream makes no sense to me. And yes, I find it offensive on some levels as well.
Gryph Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I just find the name of their site hilarious. Something about the words gay and gamer go together.
