This has been attracting much news as of late over the internet and television which is a video of Michael Richards, a.k.a Kramer from Seinfeld, going insane against a couple of African Americans in the audience. Let's just say, there is much racial profanity said to the audiences dismay. Someone just happened to get it on their cellphone as well. Richard responds to the African Americans with racial slurs and receives racial slurs back for being White himself. This is truly a terrible day for Seinfeld fans.

"Richards, who played the wacky Cosmo Kramer on the hit TV show "Seinfeld," appeared onstage at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. It appears two guys, both African-American, were in the cheap seats playfully heckling Richards when suddenly, the comedian lost it. "

All I can say about comedy is that it not funny as it used to be and it get worse everyday, now that has gone too far and I hope his show business rots in hell.

Personally I don't think the apology would justify for what has happened, punishment with community service will a lot better than the apology.

I think whatever damage this has done to his career (what career?) is punishment enough. He is forever "Racist Kramer."

He went too far and he should have known to kept his cool if audience members were being disrupted. He'll gonna need a long explanation after his apology for this.

Nothing he can do will work. He clearly has a low view on african americans. Alot of us use the word "ni**a"(well at least in new york) but we dont mean it that way. He used it disrespectfully, then he tries to justify it by saying "Thats what happens when u inturrupt the white man" That isnt what comedy is and is totally uncalled for. He lost me as a fan :P

Comedians don't keep it cool when being heckled. The best comedians know how to fight back and demolish the hecklers with very mean jokes. Obviously, Michael Richards did not do it properly.

Very true, he shouldve made the crowd laugh at them instead of doing what he did.

My two favorite comedians arent white (Dave chapelles/Carlos Mencia) So they really arent close to this kind of encounter in particular :P

Yeh that was in surprisingly poor taste to go off directly at audience members like that.

But beyond that, what honestly is the big deal in using the "n-word" ? I dont live in the states so I dunno how it goes down there but it seems common usage here in Australia.. and we dont even have any niggaz damnit. And why is there that double standard? Black performers of all kinds... singers, comedians... spew out nigger as part of their acts. I realise Richards was using it in the pejorative sense, but why is it more offensive than calling someone a motherflocker?

It is a racial slur so that's the big deal which is why I don't think even black performers should use it. They've cheapened the word so much that it barely means anything until someone who isn't black or hispanic (why they get to get away with it baffles me) says it and then there is a huge ruckus. I don't understand why any culture would want to use a racial slur used by others to demean them as a way to show brotherhood and to identify one's self as a group. I don't understand this type of American Black culture nor do I care to because most of the stuff that comes out of it just makes me roll my eyes.
