sgusev Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 okay, so i'll say it a second time. I copied all the necessary TDATA and UDATA directories into their proper xbox locations. Then I burned all of the data onto a DVD with Nero. Now none of the xbe's do anything when I start them up. Is there a specific way in which I should have burned the disc?
WildWold Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Then I burned all of the data onto a DVD with Nero. What do you call "all of the data" ? You have to burn an iso image so you can boot on your DVD.
sgusev Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 ok, so you're saying I have to package all the data into an ISO and then burn the one ISO file to the DVD in data mode? The way I did it now was to put all of the files and folders in the main directory onto a DVD in ISO 9660 format.
WildWold Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 Take a tool called "C-XBox Tool", last version 2.0.6 Or any over iso tool for xbox. Put all files of MAMEdOX Platium in a folder, call it MAMEdOX Platium for example. Make an iso image with C-XBox Tool of your MAMEdOX Platium folder, don't patch anything. In neroburningrom go in "Recorder" then go in "Burn Image", choose your iso and burn it at a low speed, that's all.
Prican25 Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 for nero sake it has to be a udf type disc and also i think you have to enable that xbox option in nero.
DaFilthee Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 I'd love to see Bomberman added to the list of games (the world version, not the one that is currently there). The world version has 4 player support and is different.
BritneysPAIRS Posted May 23, 2006 Author Posted May 23, 2006 all stuff is looked at but if people want changes someone has to organise what people want.....to me it easy to change as ive said but I need a proper list of changes. (bomberman is a good idea, battle toads is a good idea, rom removal is a good idea). Basically I need a few people to make a list and talk about it for a while then give it to me and ill sign it off and add all the changes right now its a mess of ideas and really its just personal preferences. Id like to do a patch that address s all the issues in one go so people can enjoy mame without wooring about dats and sound glitchs etc. And just play all there fave old games.
unchi Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Sorry to resurrect this old thread...Is there any news about a new version?
yakk00 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I would love for this to support the working Mortal Kombat roms. The driver on the old version, can't remember which, was perfect for 1, and 2 was pretty playable. Is it possible to implement that driver?
BritneysPAIRS Posted June 13, 2006 Author Posted June 13, 2006 I cant sorry it was 0.72 and below the the sound driver is all good. to play MK1 2 3 and ultimate or an other midway game eg NBA jam, Narc, Rampage world tour turn the sound off in the options then they play at full speed. I wish someone would work out rolling back the midway sound drivers as well. Its beond my skills
Affini Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Is there any place that this can still be found?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have searched on/off for a few months... newsgroups on cox, bittorrent... nowhere to be found.
BritneysPAIRS Posted July 4, 2006 Author Posted July 4, 2006 (edited) Not good enough by looks sorry.................. ive updated but no support, no ones really interested and its not really hosted or out there. Still no bugs though yeah new skin Edited July 4, 2006 by BritneysPAIRS
