Is there any way to add save states to fba before burning it to a dvd?

what for since the cheats can get you those characters as well

 

btw, the fba-xxx pro + romset are fully posted only thing left that going up now is par2's so enjoy. i also like to mention that i'll be doing update uploads to newsgroup so whenever theres a new version that changes the romset, i'll post the changed roms only (each to their own zip). this will be like mame u release updates if anyone follows that but for fba-xxx pro

- Old "misaligned character sprites in the mvsc ending" bug, which was fixed in Final Burn v0.26, exists in both FBA-XXX and Pro. This is fixed in most other emulators, although I was unable to find the exact lines of code to fix this problem.

Do you have any more info on how the mvsc bug was fixed? Or do you know of an older version of FBA/FBA-XXX in which it was not present?

 

I've spent the past few days trying out as many different builds of FBA that I could find (including the latest v0.2.95.23), and the verdict is all of the versions I tested have this bug. With that said, I will make the logical assumption that this bug has always existed in FBA-XXX/Pro, seeing as how both use FBA for their base code.

 

I know it's fixed in Final Burn v0.26 and in MAME, and although I cannot find the location of the fix within the Final Burn source, I have found the MAME fix -- within "src\vidhrdw\cps1.c" (just search for Marvel). Hopefully it's possible to grab the needed code from the MAME source, and not only from a FBA derivative.....

 

Let me know if there is anything more I can do

This thread feels a little off track at the moment. +T+ is there any chance the bootlegs will work with the encypted c roms?, and where is Gogo?(if he had the time i know he could help figure this out)

nothing off track, the man already said it will be done on the next build.

 

at the most when + T + relases a new version, he'll start a new thread and i'll close this one and start fresh based on that one.

what is v0.2.95.23 ? example of what i meant before, just wanted to get to the issues before flooding with questions unrelated to the problem at hand

v0.2.95.23 is based on the pc version

iq has informed me that real bootleg boards do not use SNK encrypted C ROMs. So all bootleg sets should have their own C ROMs. A confirmed list of these was recently posted over at the RS forums so expect some changes to several of the bootleg sets in the next build (as well as some new additions).

 

This also means that the graphics corruption should no longer be an issue since the true bootleg C ROMs do not require the same kind of decryption or S ROM extraction.

 

All being well, the new build should be ready in the next day or so.

- Removed unobtainable mslug5 M ROM. (game runs fine without it)

 

- Added encrypted M ROMs to decrypted C sets. (this is correct for these sets since ideally only the C ROMs should be decrypted)

so many updates!!! i'm not used to this...

 

 

-t- is there any chance of having fbaxxx pro save under it's own file on e drive instead of sharing with older fbaxxx? i still have fbaxxx 08-26-05 & fbaxxx pr and don't wish to delete them yet. do these interfear with each other?

 

also, any chance of adding the number of roms on the each menu screens similar to the 08-26-05 version.
