DJ Cop debuts his first song!

I was looking around the music programs and finally composed my 2nd song. I think it's the best I've ever made in a long time. Now I doubt it'll sound super terrific, but please do rate it 1 through 10. I'm thinking of making my own new cd just for the 1Emulation community.

8/10. The opening sucks, but it gets better. Sounds like something from FruityLoops.

Very, uhh, something. Cheap, not bad. Intro could be better. Sounds like something a bored person would whip up in FL.

I guess I'm going to be the one to give this a somewhat negative review. I don't mean to sound harsh or anything, but it really sounds like you just threw a bunch of random things together and at times, it sounds good, but then it changes to sounding weird. It doesn't really seem that there is a melody at all. As I said before, this is like one of the most random songs I ever heard.

 

See when you skip through the song, it sounds pretty good. But when I actually listened to the whole thing, it wasn't steady (Didn't really hold a melody or anything). I think the song didn't really have a good ending also; it sounds like you were building up into something and then you abruptly stop it. I won't deny that the song had some good beats but some parts were confusing.

Yeah, there is some truth to that, but you have to give the man some credit for trying. I've done a slew of mixes in the past, but I didn't use FruityLoops, I used Impulse Tracker.
