bubbawmu2 Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 meh just emulate it on espxe if you want to play it on pc.I'd rather stick a fork in my eye then play FFVII though.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>These two statements are the most truth you'll ever get in this thread.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I agree with the first but not the second statement.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> agreed
NeoMaster Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 FF7 roxxers your coxxors. My disc 3 is messed up so I'll probably get whatever is the latest version.
L.S.D Posted April 12, 2005 Author Posted April 12, 2005 It comes in a rectangular box.THere is the EA logo right on top.And there are the words, EA Classics.
Jjangthekid Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Ok, mine says Eidos Platinum Collection. You should buy the game, FF7 pc ports are becoming rare. It also is a game that is truly hard to forget.
L.S.D Posted April 12, 2005 Author Posted April 12, 2005 Uh, I just found a patch to support my *ahem* version.I was still making up my mind whether to get the original.I heard they have 5 discs in it instead of 4.
Samurai Edge Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I think I saw that EA Classic too. Cost about S$35.90 for me, which is about US$22.
Rag Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 It works on XP with the XP patch of it... and i've got the original eidos collection platinum version

It also is a game that is truly hard to forget. I could have bid on an auction for 7 NEW PC copies only 5 or 6 months ago on Ebay, and I've seen auctions like it (For multiple sealed copies) several times.Copies of FFVII for PC are abundant, so much so that people are practically giving them away at times. (That auction for 7 copies closed at like $23, I woulda bid but wtf would I do with the other 6 copies? Sell em? Not at a profit, thats for sure.......I'd have to give em away) Anyway the PC version blows, the music is MIDI FFS! That alone is enough, not to mention the FMVs and overall "fuzzy" look compared to the Playstation version.
Gryph Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I played the demo for FFVII on PC and hated it, I found it worse than the PSX version.

Tifa isn't completely useless.
NeoMaster Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I liked how they smoothed the graphics of character models and summons. The psx is too grainy for my tastes.
