just check the box for "connect automatically" in each of the properties boxes for AIM & ICQ, MSN, YAHOO, and IRC chat. i have trilian, but i uninstalled it for the time being. so i cant go look at it right now, but i think that is all you have to do if i remember correctly. hope that helps you.

yes, that is a great film indeed. they have sequels for it as well, i think it is a trilogy, but i havent seen them in forever. definately some movies to add to my dvd collection. oh, by the way, they have a Hobbit video game coming out for the gamecube, if anyone is intrested. thats one i may check out when i get my cube in a month.

THANK GOD im done with all that. what do you plan on doing with yourself after you graduate? after i was done with school, i was clueless. at first, i traveled around abit all over the us. i eventually settled on doing commisioned work, for mostly buissnesses at first, doing murials(i think that is how you spell it) in lobbies and such. now i do alot of commisioned portraits lately, which i enjoy more. i almost can make a living with it, but not quite. thankfully, things seem to be progressing rather quickly recently. soon i will be able to quit my other job.

its basically a server that you run off your pc. unlike having to pay money to store your roms on a web server, an ftp is FREE. keep in mind though, that everything goes on your harddrive. all your roms, emulators, gifs etc. you can still have the webstite on tripod and just link your files from your ftp server (pc) onto your web page. no server space or bandwidth to pay for. thats what makes it free, and an excellent alternative if you are poor, like me! all you need is : 1-a fast connection, dsl or above prefered. 2-a harddrive big enough to store the roms, etc for your site. 3-an ip service incase you have a dynamic ip that changes everytime you log onto the internet. 4-an ftp server prog if you are still not sure about what i have said here, or have any questions, or would like some help setting one up, i could most certainlly point you in the right direction. just pm me when you have the time, and we will talk.

Street Fighter 2 - Champion Edition was the best. when it first came out, i played the hell out of it. the others are great too, but you always have the foundest memories of your first love.

yeah, i dont think you are going to be able to get a lot of roms on a tripod account. the most they offer, i think, is 50mb. what i would do, personaly, is open a tripod account, and use it as just a sort of gateway to maybe an ftp server that you could run off your pc. the good thing about having an ftp instead of renting space on a regular server, is, naturally, the cost. "free" is a nice word to use to discribe it. also, setting up one isnt too difficult. im sure, either myself, or someone else here would be able to help you with that if you want. i just think that would be the best way to go about it.

it isnt that i dont understand or am foregetting about being able to have all those roms at my disposile. the only thing i have a problem with is the price. others may think it is well worth the cost, and maybe they are right. but as far as i am concerned, when shopping for my next big hardware purchase, i will probably choose something else (like my gamecube, which i am getting this christmas! ). maybe, eventually, i will purchase one. the thing is i probably shouldnt wait that long, like you said, they already killed off lik-sang. i will maybe by mine at Gamegizmo buy the way, an american based site. but anyway, thanks for your input, it has helped alot. now i am leaning more towards getting one, "eventually", than before. thanks.

definately man! from what ive been reading so far, it looks to be a really good game. i've also read that the game follows the books alot more then the movie did, which is very good. here's the idea, its a third person type of game. you choose which charater you want to be, frodo, aragorn, or gandalf. whoever you choose, you have the rest of the characters right by your side(controled by the computer). i think you have the choice of changing characters at the end of each mission, if you want. you then get to travel through incredibly, detailed environments solving puzzles and fighting orcs, black riders etc. sounds sweat! i'll probably pick it up this weekend. the price is $45 dollars us. i hope it turns out to be worth the money.

would any of you seriously buy one of these. i was thinking about it, but didnt really know that much about them till i did some reading. what i thought was, that a 128meg cart translated to 128 megabytes, but as it turns out, its 128 megabits. big differance! 128 megabits equals about 16 megabytes. they want like $150 bucks for one of these things. their biggest ones are about 64 megabytes in size, and they want almost $300! sure, it holds alot of games, but i mean come on, $300 dollars is insane. i'd just rather carry the games with me. it's not like they are very big. it amazes me what people will pay for these days. no wonder everyone i know is in credit card dept. instead of getting a credit card, they might as well had made a deal with the devil. they probably would have made out a lot better. but anyway, would you or have gotten one of these flash carts yet? i would if the price was alot lower. so what do you guys think?

these are the games im thinkin of gettin this christmas when i buy myself a gamecube : Super Mario Sunshine Dungeons and Dragons Heroes Resident Evil Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Star Fox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet The Hobbit Ty the Tasmanian Tiger Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Luigi's Mansion there are more i want, but these will probably be the first on my list. so, have you played or heard any good things about these games here? besides, ofcourse, mario sunshine, which i already know is THE BEST!!

so, did anybody get this game yet? it came out yesturday, the 22nd. if im right, it comes out on the ps2, x-box and pc. i'll probably get it for the pc, since i havent gotten a pc game in like forever. it looks pretty tight. the thing is, you need an up to date video card to play this one. your card has to support T&L, which i beleive stands for tecture and lairing. you also need about 800mb of harddrive space. that's for the full install but i dont know if the game has a minimum install. so, let me know if you guys are going to get this one and when you do, maybe you could tell us all what you think of it. ps- here's a link to a "short" review and some screen shots : http://www.gamezone.com/gamesell/p18670.htm
