theres also a good tutorial over at the emuchina forums, in either the general forum, or the request forum...i cant remember which one. it should be a sticky towards the top. i use my isp's news server all the time to download pc games and stuff, but recently, the thing has been down. i'll have to email them to see whats up wit dat! i'll never pay for a news server, thats a fact! they are mostly a good place to get files of all sorts right after they are released. other than that, i would stick with direct connect.

no, no complex guys. i can just imagine that the invisable women never tells him that she is too tired, and has to get up early in the morning...blah, blah, blah. but seriously, if i couldnt be mr fantastic, i would choose the hulk. big, green, and you get to break stuff. what could be better than that? even with the whole, "waking up in strange places, NAKED, and then finding out later about all the crazy things you did the night before" thing. i dont mind it. i think we've all been down that road once or twice in the past...i know i have.

ever see the film, "pumping iron"? it chronicles the mr universe contest, and stars arnold. if so, compare him from what he looked like then, to now. HUGE differance!! ofcourse, you have to realize that was like 30 years ago, naturally he looks different. so, i agree with you. but he can still kick butt. hey, he could probably kick both our butts at the same time, and on his worse day too.

i havent really broken any consoles, but many dont work anymore. i guess from over use. ive gone through 4 nes consoles, 2 snes, 1 genesis, and 1 psx. my working consoles at the moment are my ps1 and ofcourse my gamecube. i treat them both like gold, cleaning them both on an almost daily basis, but with my luck, it probably wont do any good.

exactly dude! CARTS ALL THE WAY!!!!!! with cds...and dvds for that matter, i always feel as if im going to break them of scratch them, etc. i treat them like they are made out of gold or something. you should see me, im such a weener! i'll sit there and blow and blow on the cd til there is not one single speck of dust, to the point where im about to pass out. then i'll do the same to the inside of the console, cd drive, whatever. it takes me about ten minutes in all before i am able to play the game! i think i need to join a support group or something.

family games? do you mean the family computer...otherwise known as the famicom? if not, then im totally in the dark.

my name is ME! im in my mid to late 20's i work for a newspaper as an assistant manager of distribution (basically sit on my but all day playing games on the compuer in my office, emerging periodically to bark orders at people.) i live in a small southern town where the biggest thing is the weekly rodeo (which i used to compete in.) i too like to fish in my spare time. i dont drink or do drugs "anymore", and i am a vegetarian. (except fo the occasional peice of chicken, or fish that i happen catch.) i also dream of one day buying a few acres of land and building a small log cabin. (preferably near a lake.) then i'll be able to die happy. cool. i also used to work at a golf course, but as a caddy. it was at this real snootie country club, but the tips were real good!

i like the strike titles...ya know...Jungle Strike, Dessert Strike, etc. if ya dont know, they are chopper games where ya get to fly around and blow stuff up. been playing them for as long as i can remember. i cant get enough of it.

you could use WinISO to do this. it is available at http://www.download.com. just go to the "convert" menu and select "bin to iso". but it doesnt always work well. it depends on what the bin is a cd image of.

he he. WinME is WAY worse. i would definately be intrested in an alternative os to WinME.

Daemon Tools is a program that allows you to play an iso from your hard drive. basically, it makes your pc beleive that the iso, or any cd image, is a cd in an "imaginary" cd drive. so, instead of burning the iso to a cd, you could just use Daemon Tools, and save yourself a cd-r.

go to settings, and change your connection type from "active" to "passive". that should fix the problem.

for the rar files, you would use WinRAR. you can get it at http://www.download.com. now, the two other files you mentioned, would they be a nfo file and a stv file? if so, these files are not vital to extracting the cd image from the rar archive.
