You need one of those high power directional microphones. Just get a cheap one because it will be good enough for this purpose. You will be able to hear everything. How do you know he is a bad guy though? I know people who have done a lot of drugs and been in and out of trouble many times but they aren't bad people, they just do stupid things. I guess they could wind up doing something stupid that would get them in trouble. I wouldn't be worried so much about violence/violent crimes though. I would find out more about this guy before I did anything. Unfortunately the truth is you can't do much. Your too far away, all you can do is tell her things over the phone or whatever and she might listen she might not. You will have to keep moving it back to the freezer every time it gives up though. I know this sounds weird but sometimes it works, if it's already broken you don't have much to lose though right? I had a hard drive do this and I let it sit on the shelf for awhile and now it works O_o I use it in my PS2 now. Maybe the head got stuck and it just needed to be banged around a bit. I'm not really expecting it to last much longer though. So I guess you could try banging it on a desk or something although I only really put it on a shelf, maybe it fell over or something.

So I played the PS2 version today with a friend, my god is it terrible. AI is stupid (it seems like AI characters get temporary extra health until you switch to them so they don't get killed all the time) Graphics are HORRIBLE (The first one looked way better) FPS drops insanely low all the time (The entire second level is barely playable) Storyline/dialogue/voice acting is all garbage (YOU JUST GOT BEAT UP BY A GUY IN A FUNNY SUIT TEE HEE!!!) Load times are ridiculously long. (It has to load every time you die too >_<) Every battle is the same thing, everyone just clumps together and doing random moves and you can't even tell WTF is going on. Even the scenery gets in the way sometimes. We both just got bored with it. You just run down hallways and beat stuff up by tapping X, you don't have to block or anything until you get to a boss. Even the bosses are retarded, I could just float around in the air with iron man and the boss couldn't do shit to me.

Your going to end up paying more for shipping it/shipping it back than buying a memory card/splinter cell game. I picked up a copy of splinter cell AND a memory card at gameswap for a grand total of 4 dollars and something cents. (each item was 1.99)

Is there a way to adjust this? Apparently when you push the forward/back keys on the remote you go back/forward by 1%. Is there a way I can change this to say 5 seconds? I found a forum thread that had a lot of info but all the links where dead so I got nothing. It was also very old.

I've been watching Babylon 5, so far it's kinda meh but I'm about to watch the season 2 finale tonight/start season 3 and my sci-fi friend keeps talkin' up season 3. It does seem like it is about to get really awesome though. I'm on a sci-fi kick, I think next I'll either watch Stargate SG-1 or the miniseries and remake of Battlestar Galactica. Yeah...I haven't seen any of this stuff yet. Never watched much TV.

Any word on the PS2 version? I don't have one of these newfangled HD Game boxes so it's my only option unless it's on PC. I'll probably get the PS2 one though because it makes multiplayer easier until I get a splitter box for the TV.

I actually own raven shield, I played it a lot but I always thought the interface/controls where too clunky. I mainly just played the singleplayer so I could walk around blasting people with that massive sniper rifle. That auto shotgun was pretty cool too. Anyway I'll probably pass, the next set of games comes out in about a day so maybe I'll see something I like better. I wish I could see the list before the sale.

I've been playing Red Faction Guerrilla (for PC) almost nonstop since yesterday. The characters/story are kinda lame so far but the gameplay is very fun. Oh and there is almost constant references to the first game, one of my favorite games of all time. If it's an attempt to get old fans like myself to automatically think the game is the best game ever its not going to work, but its nice. For those that haven't played the first one, it isn't the kind of stuff that will make the story impossible to understand, just random background events and such. (example, two of the areas are named Parker and Eos, characters from the first game) I'm waiting for a guard to say the classic TRY IT MINER!! JUST YOU AND ME MINER!!! though. THAT would be awesome. Or if Parker somehow shows up.

Some are faster than others (Athlon-Phenom-Phenom2) If you run a program called CPU-Z it will tell you everything about your CPU. If you post a screenshot/model I can tell you everything about it and what/if would be worth it. Oh and take Tom's Hardware benchmarks with a grain of salt. They are okay for basic comparisons but they are known to fudge results so don't read that thinking it's exact.

Haha that is pretty weird. I used to have these weird dreams that I think where tied to sleepwalking somehow where I would think I was waking up in my bed, and I would stare at an object in my room unable to take my eyes off it and watch it just disappear. Then I would actually wake up but it would seem like I was awake all along. I would never see whatever object that was ever again. So I guess I was hiding stuff really well in my sleep. Even after I moved I never found that stuff.
