This entire channel needs to die >_< Since i moved to kentucky, they have some thing on On Demand digital cable called 24/7 Gamer, which is alot better, because they actually tell you things, but its still not anything amazing, its stuff i already knew.

yeah it works I recommend the Radioshack PSX adaptor,it does everything the more expensive adapters do, all the features/rumble/various controller support, and its only 10 bucks.

Okay so for software, Im going to use Alcohol 120% for copying DVDs my friend made with his DVD camera *wink* and Nero 5 for converting all my DivX movies i made with my camera to DVD format. Is that good? Or is there any better software i should use? I dont need to make DVD menus or anything im just going to be putting DivX files and stuff as DVD format. If i can fit more that one movie ill just set each movie as a different chapter or something if it even works that way. (I know VOB files can only be.99GB but i dont think that has anything to do with chapters does it?, like each VOB has to be a different chapter?)

I reccomend everyone burns EVERYTHING at RAW/DAO format, no matter what it is.

I agree with boomba. But again, im not going to make any final word untill i try it. And yeah theres few US game developers, but most games we see here in the states are developed under a foreign company, but published under a us company, so pretty much same thing. Without a publisher there is usually no game (No one publishes their own games anymore really, its really rare)

i dont really like Halo, Alot of people play Time Splitters Future Perfect on Live, which i think is alot of fun because everyone can make their own maps and stuff. Theres alot more variety. After Xbox 360 comes out, a used Xbox should be pretty cheap

yeah tahst another, problem, there seems to be about 3 buttons used for actual gameplay. (about 5 if you count start and select) Face the facts, MORE buttons are needed, there are tons of games out now where you have to use other buttons on the controller almost like a shift button to get them to do other things, because there just isnt enough buttons, sometimes its SO bad, that the console version is almost unplayable and you have to get the PC version (Nothing wrong with buying the PC version of anything though) So really, all this movement detection is doing, is replacing a joystick So theres a joystick and 3-5 buttons depending on how you count, and an addon of another joystick. errrrr.....yeah, that controller shell, is going to be a NEEDED accessory if this console is going to have any games, Its going to have a very small game library here in the states at least because i know of very few US game developers that are willing to be THIS innovative. It's just to big of a risk. If nintendo was smart, they would put no region protection on the console, then im sure there would be TONS of excellent titles to import from Japan

Yeah, console controllers, arent nearly as good as a mouse, i agree there. i know you dont have to be swinging your arms everywhere, but im sure some kinds of crazy games are going to require you too. I think i have another example, The EyeToy, Its fun, i like the idea, its innovative, but its never truely caught on, and sometimes i dont feel like moving around and hopping around to play a video game.

lol, i know my ranting may seem like bashing, but honestly, i am really eager to try it, I was really eager to try the DS, my brother bought one and i play it all the time, i probably seem like a nintendo-hater. In my opinion, Sony and Microsoft should get the hell out, they really dont know crap about games, they just make consoles, Nintendo/Sega/Atari/etc are the ones that know alot about games (well, maybe not Atari anymore, the ORIGINAL atari)
