Those things sound like problems within MAME/MESS itself, rather than any doing of the MESSUI frontend. I would suggest you discuss the problems with knowledgeable individuals at the bannister forum, and if the others there agree, log them at mametesters.

The problem of emails not being sent, has (we believe) been fixed. There should no longer be a problem with new user registration; password reset; notification of PM, etc.
