  6. That's what he referring to although I never use it. I think it would be a good thing if you learned more about how mame and roms work together. Also, you could download just the changes and use a tool such as ClrMamePro to rebuild your roms for you. I believe the latest versions even can download what's missing although I haven't tried that feature. I never delete any roms - just in case.
  7. Type ssms.exe into google, you will see. It's not hard to find these things out. Thanks to a certain generous person, website watcher is now working.
  8. Happy Birthday L.S.D. 30 = getting old
  9. After the install there was trouble and in an effort to narrow it down I turned off one service too many. So, had to do another install. After that I noticed a program called ssms.exe was running and it wanted to access the internet. I checked it out and it is a trojan. Fortunately it wasn't too hard to get rid of it. (boot to safe mode, delete smss.exe, remove 4 entries from the registry, empty out the TEMP folder, and move tftp.exe out of the path) Then I found the IE problem, the install puts IE5 in but it's full of bugs. Upgraded to IE6 which fixed the forum issues. mIRC connects to efnet but not much else, msoffice works, email works, msn is totally broken, website watcher is still unregistered and won't start. The virus scanner had to be reinstalled but unable to update to the latest dats, mcafee is totally hopeless with support and so is their website. I will need to grab a later version from work tomorrow.
  10. I happened to reboot this morning and the registry got corrupted. Couldn't start in Safe Mode or even go to command prompt. Blue screen of death. So, I had to reinstall Windows and lost all my settings. IE works but some fonts are huge. All my saved passwords are gone and I don't remember most of them. Lost all my Zonealarm settings. Lost my registration key for website watcher so I can't post any more news. Had to reinstall Office and I was lucky to be able to retrieve my email. Most things are broken in one way or another. So, sorry guys, no emulation news for the forseable future.

  19. Found a foreign coin at work. It has a picture of a moose on the front, and the Queen's head (from about 60 years ago) on the back. On the back it says D.G.REGINA and on the front it says 25 cents 1982. It is the size of our 10 cent piece. What country?

  22. Looks like this thread has run its course.
  23. You will see it setting while dawn is beginning, and the moon will become impossible to see against the blue sky. By the time the sun becomes visible, the moon will have set. Now, the middle of the eclipse has passed, and I need to go outside to see it as it has risen too high to see from my window.
  24. Front End Changelog / Download
  25. Now there's just a tiny bit left. And, seeing that the middle of the eclipse is still 46 minutes away means it's going to be fully covered for an hour and a half.
