  1. I don't know about you, but it works for me.
  2. Here's my test: Edit: Removed the picture link.
  3. I mean, rename the extension from.gif to.txt. You can do that on your computer by disabling the "Hide extensions for known file types" under the View tab of Folder Options. You can get to that by opening My Computer then clicking Tools and choosing the Folder Options tab. Just upload the image like that to Geocities and you should be able to link to it. I'll try to put up a test link later.
  4. Good, then it'll end the whole ruckus the Wachoski (sp?) created in the first place.
  5. I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I don't *think* I've experienced that. Hmm, hopefully it's nothing serious because I've never heard of this before. I wouldn't think there's anything wrong, but since it's probably used, you never know... (sorry to leave ya hangin, but I'm fresh outta ideas).
  6. I've no clue if he's a jerk or not. He didn't reply to my e-mail. That usually doesn't bother me unless I'm asking an online store a question. Most of the stuff is done by Chinese hacking groups like EGCG, IIRC. AFAIK, that's where he gets most of his stuff (except for the s rom patch for KoF 2K3).
  7. Just curious, is this game for the ST-V or whatever the Saturn based/prototype (not sure which) arcade system? If it is, then it has a ways to go before it'll fully work. After all, not even Saturn emulation is at full speed, if I'm not mistaken.
  8. GryphonKlaw, it's probably not a problem. Sometimes when I try to load bad burned games, the disc () drive squeels horrendously. Usually, though, it just makes a lot of rotating sounds and laser(?) adjustment sounds, which can be lounder than expected.
  9. Zinc for sure runs Tekken and, IIRC, MAME should support it too. I don't know how good the emulation is in either, though.
  10. Rename the.gif part to.txt. Maybe that will work. I know that Geocities won't let you show images outside their hosted sites. I'm not positive about how the IMG tags work. Hopefully I've given you the right instructions, but if I didn't, I'm sorry man.
  11. But would the machines know that they're in the Matrix themselves??
  12. I e-mailed him about his KoF 2K3 fixes website as it was screwed up for a week or so. I also requested the s fixes patch. He didn't reply to that either, but it really didn't bother me as the site was "fixed" later.
  13. Speaking of Mugen, how does it compare to KOF91? It's also a sprite ripped based fighting engine. I've played KOF91, but not Mugen. It's also been a while since I used KOF91 as the last I played it was on my 133Mhz computer and the Windows port was slooow.
  14. Hey Sane, my nick is Strider not Spider. I didn't think there were PAR based carts that let you play backups. I know the PSX does, which could be the issue of confusion.
  15. Axl, this isn't a fan game. It's a pirate game that stole stages from other games such as the Street Fighter. It's more complicated than any internet hack that I've seen so far (none have new graphics, just changed color palettes). Also, the opinion thing was just a joke, hence the . Also, you may want to edit your post. Your quotes didn't quite work out.
  16. L.S.D., I didn't say it was new philosophy, just that they applied the Gnostic belief system to their movie. It's not exactly ripping off those texts, just Gnostism. The Matrix has to do with religion because of its borrowed philosophical/theological takes in the movie. The whole universe and matter came out Mr. X's post, which related to religion. So we didn't stray too far from the topic.
  17. No problem. I stumbled across that site myself a long time ago looking for game trainers. MegaGames has essentially absorbed PSXCopyWorld, DCCopyWorld, and (possibly) GameCopyWorld. Technically, I think they were part of its "network" anyways.
  18. Well, you should be able to link to it. IIRC, you put the image's URL between the IMG tags, which should look like this [/img].
  19. Eh, I don't think it's funny, but that's just my opinion. I don't read too much into the philosophy of the Matrix. Last thing I want to hear is someone "teaching" me the complexities of life who can't even pronounce Socrates correctly. Besides, it's essentially all Gnostic beliefs: Oracle=god of new testament, Architect=god of old testament, Neo=Jesus, Merolvigian(sp?)=devil, etc., etc.
  20. Also, to add to Agozer's post, the AES and MVS are very similar. In fact, you can play MVS games on the console w/ a converter as long as the game doesn't have console protection (i.e. Matrimelee). You could use the uni-bios to bypass that though. In fact, you could put the roms from an AES/MVS board in the other and they should play like they were the console/arcade version.
  21. Well, you can poirot's website here. You can also check out Dream Generation for some of the latest roms and hacks. Last I checked, the site was down. Some people also have a problem navigating it. The NeoRAGEx icon with Chinese letters next to it takes you to the section that links to the roms and hack roms. Edit: I just checked the link and Dream Generation seems to be back up.
  22. Nevermind, NeoRAGEx.com seems to be down. If it comes back up, check there. I know they have the special version for KoF 2K3 Plus/Hero and probably have the version for regular KoF 2K3.
  23. Check out MegaGames. This links right to their section with the DC browser. BTW, the browser was originally dial-up only since the BBA didn't come out till later in the DC's life.
  24. DanManXZ, I don't think so, but some do let you play imports. Maybe you're confusing it with the PSX version? Lancerx, it's not too difficult to find sites selling the Saturn mod-chip, it's just a matter of if it's in stock. To find more info about the swap trick, go to SegaXteme and check out the Help & FAQs section. There should be a Saturn swap trick tutorial.
  25. AFAIK, it hasn't yet. Last I heard, it was being worked on. I personally haven't heard anything lately, though. I don't follow MAME and similar arcade emu development all that closely, so I don't know how far they've come.
