Hey, It's been days I'm trying to mod. I bought an XBOX 1.0 and used Soft Mod Installer Deluxe v5.01. It worked well for modding the original HDD except the led blinking that means I have to set time. The real problem is upgrading the hard drive, a 250gb western digital caviar: I backuped my eeprom and the original HD content to my PC. Then I followed the instructions for HDM 1.9 and my new HDD was properly installed. When I tested the new HDD i found two problems: - ~123gb allocated to F but where in the hell is the rest ? So I activated the G drive and I got a 0 byte size on screen. - Worse than that, I set the time in the original xbox dash like they said to stop the led blinking. Since then I always have a black screen after the flubber and the XBOX when I boot the xbox. So I plugged back to the PC the new HDD and redid the HDM 1.9 step. But I always have this black screen when I boot. The original HDD still boots, though. Thanks for helping me. I need my retro fix !!!

Which core do you use for SNES emulation ? SNES9X ? Which version ?

Winuaex works fine with usb keyboard and mouse. Then I can start skinning on good old Deluxe Paint and thinking about releasing it in 2011. lol. Not certain but I remember WinstonX has the same feature. I would check DosXbox and ScummVMM, too. Xperience would be compared to a painting, not Ellipsis. I agree with you CBA.GY, definitly Ellipsis is not really fun but it's simple. And when I said no risk, no fun about Xperience it's because for me there's no creativity in it. It's just copycat and collecting wallpapers with heavy loading. I will always favor the ergonomics on aesthetics when it comes to XBOX because of daily use. And Ellipsis can be a good start for customization, colors like you say etc. Anyway, I wanted a clear interface for my SDTV. Others often have too small typos, too.

Why being so harsh with this skin ? It's a light design, it's usage is simple and it loads fast. Two qualities that I prefer. But yes, it would have been better if it was released two years ago. By the other hand, I have the beta of their Xperience skin since weeks and I find its display too slow. I don't like the design, too dependent on Microsoft. No risk, no fun. It's overloaded and so unreadable on SDTV.

And adding the possibility to dynamically show/hide clones like FBAXX did would be very nice.

Ok then I'm certain that all Neo Geo games are better in FBA. So you could start with it. Also I guess Psyko, Cave games are more accurate. And are PGM games available in CoinOps, too ?

nahhh just big luck. Had it second hand back in the nineties from a (rich) guy who just didn't care. I had Magician Lord, Viewpoint and Last Resort for the cost of an SNES !

The Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions are excellent on Amiga. And they play well on xbox.

There's history.dat in Mame for Windows. Improving drivers in Coinops and adding games is much more important. XboX is made for playing.

I experienced the same bug, Coinops froze while on screensaver for a long time. Also, Gunnail sound is messed up. Cba.gy: There's no worry, man. That's just the way torrent is after all.
