Man... if the difference between mutilating, cannibalizing your child or being a decent parent and just putting up with them are a couple of pills... she should just be put out of her pathetic misery. Regardless of whether or not she's a complete nutter, her act suffices for being put down the same way you would a dog with social aggressivene issues, or contracted with rabies. Mental fucks shouldn't be having children to begin with. And her family wasn't monitoring her medication? You can't just leave a crazy person to handle their own illness, let alone with a newborn in tow. If I was her relative i'd feel guilty. Buncha retards.

Adventureland. When I first saw Kristen Stewart I didn't know what to think. I don't have a problem with her, she's cute but you know those actors get payed to basically act the same way (act themselves) in all their movies? Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise come to mind. Well she's quickly earning herself a reputation for that, at least to me anyway. And Jesse Eisenberg... is like.. a less funny, less geeky but similarly awkward Michael Cera while failing at it. The only time I liked his character was when he was depressed and brooding, he plays that role much better. I hope he does better in Zombieland. The story was good though. 1987, it could've just as easily been a Highschool to College transition movie like so many others but I suppose in an effort to be different, the cast was set as college graduate age.

Fast & Furious. It wasn't awful. Better than expected.

Sometimes my cat disappears and I look for her in every possible location I can think of but I can't find her, then all of a sudden she's sitting right there in front of me. I find that weird at times. *shrug*

Real Nigga Speaks on African-Americans And Africa
veristic replied to Shibathedog's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Yes Egyptians had slaves but its contested how they were treated. The pyramids were built by slaves and we're all accustomed to depictions of slave-drivers thrashing unfortunate slaves with the whip to build the giant crypts for their Pharaohs but in recent studies its believed these slaves weren't mistreated and were actually payed with quality food and living quarters with their families nearby, while also working in shifts and having down-time so what happened to African-Americans in the early era of America's history isn't exactly parallel. The Romans too had slaves but they were largely worked for being indebted to payments or taxes not met and did so to pay-off their fees. It's only when the mistreatment of slaves occurs that the system fails. A good example would be the caste system in India which still exists. You have your various social status groups that you are literally born into but as a society, they value in recognizing the importance of relying on each group as a whole from the highest to lowest caste and they do not believe in the mistreatment of people, though their caste defines servitude. Basically, shouldn't have abused our slaves. -
I wouldn't know, I never read that "argument."

Downloaded Miss March. The only really funny part is the first time the main guy shits himself in the hospital floor. His best friend Tucker reminds me of Ace Ventura... 6/10.

Yes. So are crackers, cheese and grapes.

I'm sorry. I'm not meaning to start something. But to be honest, there are more evidence to back up my beliefs than those of evolutionists. I have nothing against them. Go for it..I have nothing against science. It's all about theories though. Once it's proven, there's really no argument. I'm interested to see what evidence you're speaking of. I don't mind your reaction, it's kind of expected. But to say that you have nothing against "us" is kind of naive. I'll admit I have something against creationists. It comes with the territory when identifying yourself with a certain idea or cause. But its not a prejudice against you or others of your belief system. Actually, nevermind I asked to see your evidence. It doesn't matter. True. You will see it one way as I see it another. If you're interested in facts, you're welcome to search yourself. I see no reason for me to show you anything if I'm "naive" in stating I have nothing against other people with different beliefs. I find it a bit ridiculous that I cannot say that I disagree with something with good reason without getting (what I assume) vague sarcasm. I don't have anything against anyone. As long as it's not forced down my throat, good sir. That is not my intention and I dearly hope that isn't yours either. No. I just think its fair to spread knowledge. Forcing someone to believe truth or not to believe truth doesn't change what truth is, as it exists with or without our consent. And the "naive" comment is to admit that when people aren't ambiguous about their views that they do come to have something against others that don't share in the same collective. That is the belief that you are right and they are wrong. The same goes for me. It is in essence, vanity. The only true "sin" in my mind.

No it didn't. Though I will point out why i'm sure you'll deny any bearing the following will have on your belief, which is ok. Creationism is a point of view to acknowledge as something any person of sound mind and thought, and willingness to question and to learn should chance upon in their own reflection of the self. Human babies are born premature. What does premature mean? When you compare a newborn human infant to a newborn mammalian animal such as a deer, or a horse, or a whale, these baby animals exhibit the ability to stand, walk and run (or swim in the latter case) almost immediately. Human babies cannot. While both human and animal babies depend on their mothers for nourishment and protection, the former also depends on the mother with the ability to feed itself and movement. Why are human babies born premature? When comparing the skeletal structure of modern man to those of prehistoric semi-bipedal hominids, certain key features set us apart. Our cranial structures, the position of our spines and shapes of the digits on our hands and feet etc. A key feature that sets us apart which you will find with the advent of fully bipedal hominids are our hips. Specifically in the female, though modern women's hip structure is generally wider than their male counterparts (which is sexy, yes) they were much wider in our hominid ancestors. You can see the same trait when studying the skeleton of our closest "cousins" the chimpanzees. For better reference, here is an example: The wider hip structure in the skeletons of our ancestors allowed for less premature births in their offpsring. With the evolution of walking upright (for locomotion and energy consumption) our skeletons had to adapt and thus the hips of our ancestors, like we who descend from them, narrowed. The narrowing of the hips would lead to the birthing of smaller, more fragile and dependent premature human babies. What does this have to do with marriage and god? Well... going back to the above statements, the evolution of man's ability to walk upright leading to premature births (which isn't the same definition of premature births by today's standards) equally led to the male-female pair-bonding. The premature infant baby in all its fragility and weakness required a mother to tend to its needs for surivial. Any mother here can attest to it. Hell... any father here can attest to it by watching their baby mamas. When considering the role of the mother caring for and protecting a small premature infant, one must also consider the mother's needs to survive also while taking care of its baby. This was the role of the father, to further ensure the survival of his offspring and to spread his seed, he would hunt and forage to feed his female partner and child for their own survival and ultimately the survival of its species. They did this through pair-bonding. They survived through this coupling and what would ultimately become known as marriage. So you see, while the word "marriage" and "matrimony" may incur the idea of religion, that is only because of our modern times and the encompassing truth that most of our world is dominated by a majority of religious minded peoples. Be it a cult, or a major religion like Christianity, Catholicism, Islam, Hindu and what have you. Historically, it isn't until you introduce the word "holy" coupled with "matrimony" that the term "marriage" becomes something more than male-female pair-bonding. Which is essentially... what "marriage" is. With a license, or "blessed" by one's identified denomination and deity. Anthropology is a great subject btw. I recommend it for any student.

Street Fighter IV on Games for Windows – Live. I'm about to order my Hori Fighting Stick 3. The old rumblepad 2 just isn't cutting it anymore. Anybody interested?

Yeah wasn't Mir that got knocked the fuck out, it was Bisping. I was watching more for the GSP vs. Thiago Alves fight. That kid was a damn monster! But still taken out by Mr. Rush. Dude's slick as fuck with how many takedowns he pulled. And his attitude, he's not an asshole. Not that the assholes aren't entertaining. Brock cracked me up when he said he'd get on top of his wife after the fight. Btw Rena Mero is still pretty hot.

Funny how they sing about condemning sinners with a song made by a bunch of probable sinners by their logic. And it isn't as simple as saying we evolved from apes, because they to evolved from other extinct lifeforms gradually over millions of years, extending all the way back to amphibious animals and so forth. Human beings just like to categorize in almost black and white the nature of our origins either with creationist myths and legends from one almighty source or with the idea of some "missing link" bridging the gap between a chimpanzee like ape and modern man, when in fact its pretty gray how much time and through how many different stages of evolution species go through. Including us. They say elephants and whales used to have a common ancestor and I suppose if a whale had the capacity of thought the way humans do, they too might disbelieve that their graceful, aquatic line of life shares some ancestry with a wrinkled, long-nosed, club-footed land beast. And vice-versa. Humans too dislike the idea of sharing a tree with these ugly, hairy apes that I admit, I too find unappealing in their appearance but its not so simple as to say we just came from apes or monkeys like they gave birth to us.

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. Aside from the linear, but fun gameplay, it was a worthwhile experience. I love westerns, and the southern swearing and banter between the McCall brothers is something to soak in for humor's sake.

Thank you.

I know Games for Windows - Live version of SF4 won't crossplatform with Xbox Live, but what about Steam? Can people who purchase the game through Steam play with people who buy a hard copy of the game and play through Windows Live?

Yeah looks interesting. I'm definitely not against dark visuals and themes but when I tried reading it the site I normally read manga online doesn't have Berserk, says it was asked by Dark Horse who licensed it to remove it from the site. Think you can direct me where I could read it or get chapters?
